Hello Dave, I’ve watched your videos probably 50 times. Thank you for the posts! I was wondering how large of an area it heats. I’ve researched and with my subpar brain, I understand that heat output is a function of BTU’s. If it’s burning the pellets slowly, doesn’t that limit the potential heat output? I ask this all to say I’m thinking about using one to heat a small two person sauna, but unsure if it will be able to get hot enough. Thank you again for your contributions, and have a wonderful evening!

I'm a little confused about the new heat exchanger, I look forward to what you are going to do... first of all, the "medium pipe", could one just use black pipe? Like what you used for the other heat exchanger? So long as the copper fits in it of course, I'm guessing 3/4" copper? and for the curve? Will the copper be completely covered by the steel pipe? Seems like it would be better not to solder any of the copper that will be inside the stove- in case it is run without water in the pipe... but is seems like a great idea because you could connect it to a water heater and already have convection heat going on so maybe you don't even need a water pump altho a pump would make it more efficient it seems. Another question: do you think one could get away with brazing with flux coated bronze rod for any or all of this? I've been experimenting with that, with my pellet basket, and so far the brazing has held up no problem with the high temperatures but I haven't put that many hours on the stove yet... brazing is kind of easier than welding and one can more easily disassemble parts for experimental purposes, just heat up the braze and disassemble instead of all the grinding a weld apart... just some thoughts. Great vid, awesome stove! Looking forward to next vids! Happy Holidays!

Dear David, if I may ask: if I change profile from 100x100 mm, to 120x120mm , if I understood well it is needed to extend only bottom line, the burning chamber from 400 to 480 mm !? Should I extend the riser as well, from 500 to 600 mm ?

I understoud IT right? You wanna build It on the outside to use the Heat Outside the burningchamber? So this is a good Idea, but i have an Upgrade to your Upgrade, i think you should make Something Like an U around the Copper so than you make IT also to the end a little Higher Than on the Pelletside, and so the cooled Air can Go Off , cause IT will Cool down during warming Up the Pipe and you have steady hot Air around the hole Pipe and Not only on the one Side of the burningchamber. Maybe you Take a U from 100mm x30 mm x 500mm Weld the ends and make on the Pelletside a hole in the Button of the U (under the burning Chamber) and the Side (where the Tubes still are in the moment ) make a Bigger cut for the Pipes, so the Air flow's and you have an little Bit the effect Like a bullerjan... Excuse my terrible englishl

And excuse the big Letters, my Smartphone Change maybe every or second Word and to write in english is really strange... Even If i understood it wrong, If you wonna build the copper INSIDE Chambers, i think IT would Melt earlier than Somebody think...

Can you Tell me the temperture in C over your waterpipes and also at the top of your "bachburning" and the Temperatur right in the place over and unser the way where the exhaust goes Out? I dont Need a Video... Only the Temperatur is interesting for me. ... Cause i am right straight to built an Version of yours, but an complete Other way, only the First was with the burning Back is the was i would Take, i will give ( in Time) No Pipe in the riser tube i think you have Something Like 12 Times a square in the risertube before it gets to Seconds combustion or into the exhaust....( Nobody can say or filter.. Hey smoke ...please go a second time in the Flame) ... IT only works about temp or pressure or flow or whatever... I think .... I Will Go in a round one after the 100 x 100 burnimgchamber in the way to get into the round one i built a adjustable Thing .........to ( i Hope (( in Testing With a Long Gas Flame IT seems to Work) ) i Hope to built and adjustable Vortex... After the exhaust IT goes in an 200 Liter Metalbarel, in this one is an 12.000 mm (12m) Long 18mm Copper to Heat the Walter...after this it goes in an 300mm and 1200 mm high secondary Barrel ... And than the smoke goes in nearly 2100mm Chamber ( so i dont burn or bump my head) cause i am Something about 1750mm... And now is the Most importent Thing about this Idea.. it ( the smoke or warm Air) goes in the First underflour and IT IT goes in a third Barrel ( 200liter) the warm one in the top, the cold one on the Button... And ... Than i have to Challenge 5 Meter and 3 times 90 degree turnes to get to the (cleaning) chimney of the House... If you think, why did He do this complicate way... I live in a Land where the Regularies normaly Not allow to use a rocketstove, WE have in this Land a company /Community/ Something Like a company and If they say ... No this one ist mit allowed, than you have to built IT Back, i know IT, but i am a Fan ... A few years ago, Somebody makes a Video from His Rocket stove and IT was a very easy one, but IT works good...the company which will have to Clean chimneys and to have a Look qnd to Control the places where you lit a fire..... Thus company says... A fire wouldnt burn on that way... This ist not alloud and a stupid way...i think IT IS the Most effectible way to Use the Temperature after burning...
