american cops value cops' lives FAR higher than anybody else's. what happened in uvalde was just a particularly extreme demonstration of this. those same cops actually had active shooter training earlier this year. what they are told to do and what they trained is that the first cop on scene is supposed to immediately attack the shooter to draw the shooter's attention and gunfire away from helpless civilians who have no body armor, weapons, or combat training (and in this case happened to be 10 year olds). 10 bullets shot at a cop wearing body armor behind cover do much less harm than 10 bullets shot point blank at children. in stark contrast, one of the official excuses of uvalde police was "we did not attempt to enter the room because the suspect had already shot at us". cop priorities! to say that they think that they are better than the rest of us is an understatement. they act as if they believe that they are a different species, like we aren't people to the full extent they are.

This wasn’t about cops protecting themselves though. Multiple cops put their lives at risk in minutes of the shooter entering. Within 3 minutes there were cops trying to enter the room who got shot at. This is about a police Chief who has controlled his officers to such a degree that one of them asked for permission to shoot the guy with a gun & then the rest were ordered to treat it like a hostage negotiation, not an active shooter situation. I want to know why the cop felt he had to ask for permission? Is that because the guy hadn’t yet shot anyone & the cop didn’t want to be targeted for an unjustified shooting? Or because his Chief has ordered them to get permission first so they don’t get targeted for unjustified shootings? Or some other reason? It’s not about the cops being cowards - although I’m sure that when it comes down to knowing you’re probably going to die & you haven’t faced that before, or you have people or things you want to live for, I’m sure there are some cops who buckle under fire. But not all of them. That’s just the knee jerk “let’s blame someone” response. We need to know WHY they listened to their supervisor when training says it’s the wrong approach. And more importantly, we need to stop these high powered weapons getting in the hands of f’d up young men & stop them from thinking that shooting up a school, concert, parade, shop etc is something that’s reasonable in their twisted minds. To be honest it does not matter in this case. No lives can be saved no matter what the police did. Students and teachers already dead before police even arrive. Also the local police officers for sure don’t have enough training nor gear to handle this situation. Period. You don’t understand anything about trainings if you argue otherwise. If you expect anyone to react to once in a life time emergencies with strong proficiencies, with only training courses every few years, you are complete ignorant.
@hahasushiwhat9308

@@js2009-g9fare you even aware of the circumstances? Police were there for 77 minutes, hundreds of them, from multiple sections. The first few arrived almost immediately and still did not take action. They had time. They let a lot of those children die. They gave the shooter time to kill those that would have lived. Lacking proper gear is *not* an excuse. They are trained to eliminate the threat as soon as possible, no matter how equipped they are, they are NOT supposed to wait. Instead of defending those that did not do what they took an oath to, defend those innocent lives that didn’t even think about having proper protection gear before entering their classrooms and calling 911 for help when they should have been saved already. That mother that pulled her kids out of class during this whole thing did not think once about having the proper gear.

@@hahasushiwhat9308 And you also proved my point. The fact that you understand 0 about trainings says a lot about why people failed to understand critical lessons we need to have about this tragic event that could have helped preventing others. First of all, the ONLY life saving opportunity presented is the school lock their fxxking door. that failed - not only school have minutes to react before shooter enters building - one teacher noticed the shooter's car crashing, they failed miserably by not locking both the main door AND critically, the classroom doors. This was the ONLY reason students died. Not the police, the SCHOOL!!!! If the doors are locked, not only the shooter not able to enter the classroom, but also provide police with opportunity to eliminate the threat similar to how Nashville police did. Clearly the officers are seen doing exactly what the Nashville police did, they try to locate the shooter in school building. If the shooter are outside of the classroom, it's much easier for the police.

What happened to the dems? I'm black, and grew up in a dem household run by a single educated mother. But today's democrats seem so out of touch. I hear that somewhere they are wasting our time trying to get rid of the word "mother." Isn't that really just messing with the First Amendment in disguise? And at a time when Fox is showing real time footage of our borders being invaded? And what about the out of touch white liberal dems defunding OUR police in the black neighborhoods, so that crime is now off the charts? Or to have liberal soros-funded DA's unleash these repeat offenders back onto our streets through their brilliant (lol) no bail policy? And now, they want to take the good black man's guns away, while the criminals that don't follow (gun) laws plan on keeping theirs? Who is the average American supposed to rely on -- the cops?

The police need to be better than this. As soon as u get the call that somebody is shooting a school, don’t wait to go help, go help go on the school and stop being afraid of the shooter. We call officers hero’s because some get killed for the safety of others. Instead of trying to help, protecting themselves is more important than the lives of children. What if it was there kids. We need to stop an entire f’ing country putting guns before kids lives!

They can shoot through both walls of a dumpster from far away. In a classroom no desk or bookcase or anything can protect kids and teachers. The guy shooting from an upper story of a hotel in Vegas was able to kill so many people across a highway. These kids in Uvalde had no chance. The cops were scared - they knew what an AR-15 can do. It's crazy that Texas state government made it easier for killers to kill yet refuse to protect even children from being slaughtered. It took DNA to identify the bodies. As a teacher I can feel all of this. It's hard enough at the end of every school year to say goodbye..as teacher we build relationships with these babies, we learn their birthdays, what they like, get to see their sense of humor and so much more. This is heartbreaking. He deserves to be paid for years so he can get his mental back as much as possible. I could not imagine. Praying for his heart and mind. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😔🧡

@@Ass_of_Amalek If a cop who has the shooter in sight before he entered the school feels he has to get permission from his supervisor before he can shoot, and no one else entered because their Chief told them not to, this is a failure that obviously starts & ends at the top. Somehow the Chief & perhaps other supervisors have disempowered their own police force to respond to dynamic situations. And the fact that the Chief is too much of a coward to voluntarily testify means he knows that he’s the main one at fault. Even if part of the reason that they hold off on shooting first is so they don’t end up being accused of unjustified shootings, there are obviously major failures in that system. And what good does the rest of the police force quitting in despair & shame do for that community? It would leave them without a police force at a time when there are some extremely upset people around. And wtf is with your account name? Sunflower seeds for Putin??? They’d better be poisoned!!!

My wife carries firearms everyday at work including the AR-15. She was also required to qualify on the Barrett 50 cal to disable vehicle engines. Anyone who noticed the BLM terrorist who ran over women and little girls in Wisconsin with an SUV would know that parades are dangerous. Vehicles driven by terrorists are dangerous too. Why wasn't the parade canceled or protected by police? The same goes for school shootings. Every adult responsible for those murdered children should be fired for their incompetence A Shout Out to Ruth Buzzy Ginsburg.. for betting Democrat chips on Hilary Clinton to win The Supreme Court of the United States finally acknowledged that armed self-defense is a human right denied to most women around the world, in places like Europe, India and China. Rapists love gun control. I am not surprised at Democrat pro-rape attitudes or their condescending and sometimes racist comments against SCOTUS. Democrat states like Illinois, California, New York and Washington DC get people killed with their gun-free zones and unconstitutional gun laws.

Why hasnt the community protested in front of the police station, the police homes, thrown a molotov cocktail into the station? There needs to be a release of anger on these police to let them know they can't get away with letting people,s kids die. There must be a message sent by the community.

This wasn’t about cops protecting themselves though & I have no doubt that all the cops except maybe the Chief are absolutely tormented by this. Multiple cops put their lives at risk in minutes of the shooter entering. Within 3 minutes there were cops trying to enter the room who got shot at & they got stuck in the hallway. We need to stop an entire f’ing country putting guns before kids lives!

The gunman tried to see if he was still alive who knows how many kids laid there hoping for help before passing. I don't know how many would of survived or how many would of been injured but even 1 would be better than none!!! This is so infuriating to know he was thinking where's help but to know all those innocent kids were thinking where's the police they are supposed to save people yet never even saw anyone that would help them. 😞

The wife of a Texas Sheriff told her husband that she loved him very much, but if he had been a first responder at the Uvalde school massacre, she expected him to have placed his life on the line to save those children, and if he did not come home that night, he would have performed his duty with honor. But if he refused to seek out and engage the suspect and neutralize the threat, she would have been very ashamed of his cowardly actions that cost the lives of innocent children.

I can't imagine the PTSD this man is going to have.
