I like what you said beginning at 6:47 about making your declaration to forgo sexual pleasure. When a man makes the momentous decision to renounce his pursuit of orgasm and to extinguish the experience, he liberates and opens himself up for many great blessings. I'm so enthusiastic about it, myself, because I believe that semen retention is both a calling and a gift and that sacrifices willingly made for God will not go unrewarded. Since I first discovered masturbation at 12 and awakened the desire for continuing release, I've been strongly intrigued by a parallel desire to let go of that part of my life for good, and I'm very grateful to have finally achieved it nearly 3½ years ago.

I’m about 90+ days in and I found about this on accident. This does make you go inward which it will take time to get use to (makes you face yourself) because you neglected yourself by giving your self away so easily. Listen it took time to create this current state so give time and nature some respect and let is work for you (stay out the way). The only way to be successful is to make it a lifestyle.

I just passed 30 days of hard mode. Continuing on. I don't know what it was about, but a nice looking woman smiled and said hello to me today as she passed me. Other men seem to sense that I mean business in whatever I'm doing and they don't trifle with me. I just feel more comfortable in my own skin. I feel a lot calmer (for the most part), but can still blow up at things that piss me off. I guess I have to work on that part.

It's so good to have you back bro. My favorite account of anyone overcoming of lust in history is that of Joseph the son of Jacob. He ran from lust as if it was some hunter that was out to get him. In the same way, we should let go of the slightest bit of interest in these worldly things and run away from them. Also, I believe that everything we need in life is actually within us and we're not even conscious of it because of the tendency of the mind to be fixed outward on our surroundings and to be decieved by the sense of lack, the sense of being a victim to life, and the sense of being an outsider. I have found that just as you said, when you operate from the position of abundance as if you already have everything that you need, not seeking out of necessity anything outside of yourself to fulfill you, then that's when things start to fall into place and happen in your favor. It's as if the sense of urgency and attachment to our desired outcomes and expectations actually holds us back from achieving the things we want and causes constant suffering, when in reality letting go is the ultimate solution. This is what resonates with me when I look at the Bible verse about how man was not created for the sabbath, but the sabbath for man. It's like being a child and knowing that no doubt all of your needs are already met and just being grateful, because gratitude is our security. I recommend the book Letting Go by David R. Hawkins for anyone who wants to experience steady peace by letting go of the constant friction in our lives happening as a result of things like desires, expectations, attachments, obsessions, and urgency. I would also recommend setting aside just a few minutes here and there throughout your day to completely let go of everything mentally and intellectually. Only quietly observe whatever may come up as if it is traffic passing by without criticizing it. Realize that most of this traffic is the cause of all our problems in life. I wish you all well!

Don't know man...I felled like shit after 3 months.Very dark thoughts for a month. The benefits came after the first week but after the first month I felled a constant tension and was not able to release my stress or transmute my energy...I came to the conclusion that we all are different and sex is inevitable for us as men.We cannot fight the urge for too long and I am convinced it's pretty unhealthy to suppress one of the most important insticts which helped us to survive as a species. Balance is the key and I am sure everyone will fail on this nofap journey sooner or later...I wish you the best brother and I am really glad you are back...
