In this video I talk about the Noise Gate (or AutoGate) feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. You can use this dynamic effect to mute (or turn off) a microphone when the volume of that audio signal dips below a certain threshold and have it unmute (or turn back on) when the input level is louder than the threshold. Thus helping you remove unwanted noise when you are not talking.
