Got that pedal around a week ago, and it’s a total game changer! Totally cancels out the annoying sounds from my distortion and octave pedals.

I think the decay is more a matter of preference. When I use a noise gate and let a note ring or mute the strings and it gets low enough in volume for the gate to kick in I like it to do so pretty quickly. I like the threshold set just a little over the minimum needed so I'm not cutting off notes either and set it with most if not all my pedals on especially the compressor since it can increase the volume of some noise.

Great explanation, very clear and let me share something with you. I'm an expat in Japan some 23 years now and many amps have no ground wire. They're just two prong and the buzz issues are TERRIBLE. You've persuaded me to give this a try!

What are they thinking? I hate when an amp is humming and I unplug it to find someone has cut the ground prong off. The worst!

Thank u Di - Your upload is awesome - esp for people like me with amps without return or send. The loop with pedals is very clever And I was in two minds but after watching your guide I have purchased one - 🙏🏽

Love those boss pedals . Thanks for the great information Di. Could you please do a vid on the songs you have to learn for worship and who decides what key they are gonna be played in and if band members are required to learn the songs before rehearsal or if if they read charts on the day or if they can learn them by ear. I would really appreciate your knowledge as my worship team needs a good shake up !!! God Bless ToYou !!!!

Generally I like the sound to be raw gritty and have all those natural imperfections but I could also see this helping the engineer a bit in recording. I wonder if it adds and color to the tone

Di, does it still allow noise through when the note is ringing? ie - when you're playing?

Nah, that’s kinda silly actually, always tuner first , then you can run the noise suppressor
