If you could turn the volume up a little on your next videos it would be helpful.

Nominalism wouldn't work at all in the field of physics, for example. Imagine having to work out the properties of each electron each time studying larger matter... Not only would the field hardly ever progress, but most would probably think physicists were rather stupid. 😅 In my mind at least, this shows how absurd it would be to take the nominalist approach seriously.

I agree! I think that the scientific realism of David Armstrong seems to be the most reasonable theory at hand.

Nominalist reaction would be that the reason one detects an electron is because it can be deduced that it belongs to a set(the set of all fundamental particles with -1 charge) then by the intersection of those sets some other property of that particle can be deduced(its 1/2 spin for instance). This is what other physicists do as well, they don’t know if it is a w- boson. The nominalists’ difference is that they don’t allude their ignorance to not be able to discover all the categories of particles that there are but rather to not be able to know the particle at hand.

But another question is, do they both taste the same. 🤔

Haha, probably not! I have tasted heart once, it it wasn't that bad. Never had Kidneys though, but I don't think it would taste that good. 😆 Kidney beans are delicious though!
