"that which cannot be made simpler"........ until a bunch of people come along attempting to teach it, then complexity MUST be inflated, so there is the appearance of "somthing" to teach....or "point to"....."chop wood, carry water" just goes right over the pointy heads.....

I've been fascinated with this type of philosophy/thought for decades. Unfortunately (or fortunately (good, bad who knows)) It's "mostly" an intellectual pursuit for me as I'm so tied to egoic pursuits and identity. I purchased the book but have so far ma managed to avoid reading it.

Surrender surrenders. Asking “who?” generally becomes unhelpful after initial awakening but can be exceptionally helpful to wake up :)

Your delivery of your messages of late are getting very deep for me and I don't know if thats even the right expression to use. Or maybe it was always like that and its been heard with a different clarity. I felt like I was getting this message in 3D....it had great depth. And its not just the the words itself...its the space or pauses between the words, the background design plays a part. The way you stare deeply at the viewer as if I was physically present with you. Awesome!

Well meditation is definitely not required to wake up bc I’ve seen people wake up without it. But orienting to one’s deeper (non-conceptual) truth, and inquiry in sone form I think is required generally speaking. But I think meditation helps.

In the moment notice that the thought "thoughts are relentless" is itself another thought. This can be amazingly helpful. Collapsing the view is key, but you first have to recognize it. Thoughts claim far more territory than they actually inhabit :)

Look into internal family dynamics, very interesting stuff. One key is to say yes to all of the internal voices bc they each represent a stage of development which is perfectly appropriate in its own right and context. These echoes down the halls of consciousness become solidified by our internal reaction to them. So who is reacting? That’s the question ♥️

There is no non duality and you cannot achieve it. The idea of non duality proves there is a duality and by just being means there’s non being. Dueling is one of the natural laws it was and always will be
@SimplyAlwaysAwake

We aren't talking about conceptuality here. In deeper stages of the awakening process the realization of non-duality is a very real thing. You literally experience a world without boundaries, divisions, distance, space, and independent movement. This isn;t thought based, belief based etc, the physical world, your environment is actually experienced this way all the time :)
@ervingjohnson409

@@SimplyAlwaysAwake “deeper stages of spirituality” yea only if you’re using the modern perverted spirituality. What you mean is living in balance, using the meany duality’s in the world to live a life of balance. there is no non duality since Duality is one of the natural laws of the universe.
@SimplyAlwaysAwake

@@ervingjohnson409 No what I’m referring to is the actual realization of non-duality, it does happen but it’s still pretty rare. It’s not surprising you haven’t heard of what I’m talking about but there are many people who have realized it including many who comment on this channel’s videos. I’m not referring to living a life in balance or an understanding of duality or natural laws, that’s all conceptual. I mean you could literally walk around experiencing a world that his no physical boundaries, objects, distance, separation and no self apart from the environment experiencing it. The definition I’m using isn’t necessarily modern, Buddha referred to it quite literally in the Bahyia Sutta 2500 years ago: "Then, Bāhiya, you should train yourself thus: In reference to the seen, there will be only the seen. In reference to the heard, only the heard. In reference to the sensed, only the sensed. In reference to the cognized, only the cognized. That is how you should train yourself. When for you there will be only the seen in reference to the seen, only the heard in reference to the heard, only the sensed in reference to the sensed, only the cognized in reference to the cognized, then, Bāhiya, there is no you in connection with that. When there is no you in connection with that, there is no you there. When there is no you there, you are neither here nor yonder nor between the two. This, just this, is the end of stress." So you are free to believe what you want or have whatever view of spirituality or awakening or duality you want, but those beliefs have nothing to do with what we’re referring to here. This is a different way of experiencing actual moment to moment reality.

I noticed your near hypnotic monologue that made me think not only of your speech atonality and cadence, but of your (and other non-dualists') vocabulary and word usage. I noticed that all philosophical varieties and political varieties each have their own distinctive vocabulary and word usage. Your message reminds me of Barry Schwartz' book "The Paradox of Choice - Why More Is Less". He asserts people are overwhelmed by too much choice, and too much choice causes people anxiety and decision paralysis. I suggest Barry Schwartz should shop at stores that offer less choice. Costco is one such store. Costco limits the number of choices in each product category, but compensates for the lack of choice with product curation for quality. Costco discovered limiting choice sped up how fast shoppers shop. Integral Theory and Non-Duality, like religion, prioritizes happiness, comfort, liberation, simplification, reduction of suffering, among other beneficial consequences. I believe all concepts and how they are implemented have both beneficial and cost consequences. Question: Are there any costs or other negative consequences of implementing Integral Theory or Non-Duality? Question: Is gravity real and does it exist? Is our perception of gravity somehow distorted and/or illusionary? Gravity is inescapable and unavoidable (with current technology), and continuous over time. Einstein theorized gravity bends space and slows time. In this sense gravity is not what it appears to be. Nonetheless, gravity is real enough that one ignores it at their own peril.

The simplicity makes it exquisite. It shines so is boundless. Seeking is fine if there is no division between inner and outer and you become in each moment what you are seeking. What happens is a breaking through of any boundary. You become unattached to any belief or thought.Amything can happen probably because it already has. Lol

“1:00-1:21” this is not true though. Seeking begins at the atomic level of every being. When an atom has only 5 electrons it seeks another atom that has 3 electrons in it’s valence shell to complete it and end up with 8. They both recognize the incompleteness and seek the other in order to complete what is missing. They don’t just accept that they don’t have 8 electrons they SEEK. When we get hungry we then seek food because there’s an imbalance in the body. These things cannot be ignored. When we’re overheated we seek cool air for homeostasis. We were meant to seek since conception. After all, think of the very act that got us here. That only occurred because people sought out sex.

How does action fit into non-duality? As soon as we act, we have to choose to do one thing rather than another, and we have to pay attention to the things that enable us to act effectively.
@Julia-lv4pd
Жыл бұрын
i’m no expert but i gather that the non-dual recognition is not about transcending the illusion of being a human that is separate and therefore must act and make decisions, has a “past” and a “future”, has relationships with “others”, etc - not about trying to weasel our way out of this appearance of an experience but actually embracing it completely. basically to live in our essence no matter what is the current phenomenon arising. because the essence of even a “false” “self” is still THE only singular essence there is in “actual reality”. the point is also i think, that whether you worry about it or not, non-dual is the true condition - even if you “think” you’re dualistic. so it’s more about the end of resisting nature. this human-social experience on earth is completely dualistic by appearance, and the appearance naturally feels 100% real, so let’s not be too hard on ourselves for having gone collectively insane.
