The relation of a Peer-o-Mureed is unconditional and divine unbounded by time and the affairs of this world. One such kind of relationship still dwells oblivious to the temporariness of this world at the shrine of the Sufi Arif Mian, Majhgawan Sharif Barabanki. Mohammad Noor Alam Arfi, the Sufi reciter devoted his whole life to the remembrance of his Peer-o-Murshid Arif Mian.
.
Two years back on my way to Dewa Sharif out of curiosity I coincidentally took a turn to Majhghawan Sharif, where I saw a man reciting kalams beautifully sitting alone at the dargah of the Sufi. Amazed by his divine love for his Peer, I posted a video of him reciting the kalams on Instagram.
.
Perhaps I was meant to be there that day to know about the little-known unique spiritual love residing at the Majhgawan Sharif now. Surprisingly this quest of a search for the Sufi singer was fulfilled after a gap of two years. When I got to know the whole story behind this man named Noor Alam, who calls himself a Sufi reciter.
.
The inception of this spiritual bond started when Noor Alam was a child, he had a great inclination toward reciting Sufi Kalams. One day when Arif Mian was passing by the street, He saw him reciting devotional couplets.
.
The Sufi called and asked him to recite again whatever he was reading. Noor Alam from that day became a part of Arif Mian’s lifelong journey and spent his entire life with him.
.
This journey of special love took a spiritual path after the death of Arif Mian. Noor Alam, mourning the death of his Peer, decided to dedicate his whole life to his Shrine remaining aloof from worldly passions.
