Great show Arthur! Glad you made it down here to Virginia to meet and hopefully ride behind the Queen of Steam, the BEST passenger steam locomotive ever built! Ever shot in the vid was a masterpiece and this was a FAST 30 minutes! Well done! (You'd been gone so long I was starting to worry about you too! Glad you're back! )

Thank you Wayne! Life does have its obstacles but I’ve been pushing myself to try and get atleast one video out every month. I’m very proud of how this video came out. Thanks for watching!

@@MrNJT Hey, don't worry about getting vids out on a schedule, do what you have to do to overcome those obstacles! By the way, we rode behind 611 back in the old Norfolk-Southern Steam Program days. What a machine! I'll tell you, when NS killed the steam program in 1994 it broke as many hearts here in the South as Lee's surrender at Appomattox! I don't think the anger's totally subsided yet! Southern memories are loooooooong!

"Fast Flying Virginian" is a fitting name. The Shenandoah Valley Limited took place on the former Chesapeake & Ohio main line, and one of the named trains of the C&O was the Fast Flying Virginian.

I thought it was a fitting name for the train, if not 611 because of its performance when I was trackside! Thanks for watching!

It’s known as the Queen of Steam…but I guess you could say it runs on black diamonds! Thank you for watching! 🙂

The Black Diamond was a Lehigh Valley Railroad train. This is the Norfolk and Western. So no.
