The Norinco 1911a1, best kept secret in the history of 1911's.

My Norinco is a Wilson Combat Super Grade from the early 1990’s. Yes, Wilson Combat made a series of Supergrades and others using the Norinco as the base gun.

I found a Norinco in the box at a gun store a few years ago, the price was right so I brought it home. added Wilson parts (beaver tail, hammer, safety, trigger, sear, magazines, etc.) had Novak put a green dot front sight on it. filed and shaped a Colt rear sight blade. now it's the "Norilsonvak". great shooter, lots of fun.

Great video. I have one of these that I bought in 1994 for $325. Tough, reliable and fun to shoot! :)

I used to have one just like this one. Same box and everything! It was well kept! And it wasn't a bad pistol.

I bought one about 30 years ago. I changed out the mainspring housing for a Pachmeyer, and Pachmeyer grips. The original grips were cheap plastic. I wish I still had it.

Bought mine in 1991. 2 changes. Extended slide release, as I have short thumbs. Grips are Farrar Tool Co. grips with steel inserts. My EDC.

Great take on the 1911a1 , only down side of this pistol is that the grip bushings are not standard if you ever want to swap them out . I've got 2 of them .

Yes , only buggered one of them in the process, was trying to do it to fast , and the frame is so thin , lots of lock tight on that one now .lol Brownells has a over size 1911 bushing kit , if you screw up rethreading the frame

We can get m14’s, Winchester trench gun knock offs, m4 and Remington 870 clones with metal trigger guards, and CZ and Tokarev tt replicas, Sig replicas and I am waiting for my Sig p226 replica in 7.62x25 tokarev round Fit and finish has gotten much better, forged steel on slide and frames, and a milled m14 receiver Owned a lot of the knock offs, and never had a failure to feed or fire or any malfunctions

Yeah, and just bet they laugh their ass off at our Chinese. The English language is one of the most difficult to speak or write correctly and 9 out of 10 Americans fail to put a grammatically correct sentence together.
