As a counter-point to my downer video about two ruined malls, please enjoy this healthy, enclosed strip mall. Normandale Village was built in 1973 during a population boom in Bloomington, MN. The population went from 9,000 to 80,000 residents in 20 years and has been holding steady since.
Don't let the empty shots fool you. Normandale Village was doing really well with only a few vacancies. Being a Friday, many businesses closed around 5pm. I hope you enjoy seeing this dying breed of mall.
