I took six of the best delivered by Head nun in front of whole school (St Mary’s Bowen) on assembly just because I went to see Normie on tour in Proserpine - probably 1965! Was all worth it, he touched my hand 😁

A cover of the 1963 Ian & The Zodiacs song originally from ‘Porgy & Bess’. The song was recommended by Melbourne Disc Jockey Stan ‘The Man’ Rolfe and it went all the way to number 1 in Melbourne Australia in 1965. Normie is still singing at age 77 as we speak in 2024

From a time when people respected themselves and respected other people. They said please thank you good morning and smiled and laughed loudly and were not drunk when they did it. Opened doors for old people and women. I spend a lot of time in Philippines and the people there still do that. Respect themselves and others that deserve it.

Ok Boomer, most people I know have respect and manners, I know not all do but they all didn't in the 60s either. The good old days weren't as rosy as some seem to think.

This man will find out soon enough that all that is written in the Bible is true. While we live we have time to choose Jesus, but once we die, our choice will determine out eternal dwelling place.
