A great winter camping option. Very versatile with the inner tent option for the bug ridden months.

For summer, I'd rather keep the bugs out with some sealed up mesh, but good for other seasons probably.

You probably can't use the wood stove and the inner mesh at the same time. I'd assume it would melt the mesh, or is there enough space inside to do so? 🤔
@livingsurvival

Yes you can. Just have to position the inner off to the other side.

Love the tent/review, almost sold on it but worried about the photos you showed in the snow! looks like it completely failed on ya, guessing if you rigged it with the guy line all the way through as you did in the review probably would do a lot better in snow?

With any winter shelter you need to always brush the snow off. This tarp actually did pretty well considering it was supported by trekking poles.

I was thinking combining it with natural materials and using the tent for waterproofing also for touch and go adventures combining it with a hammock would be cool.

I do have a question for you I don't like nylon tents incident happened there highly flammable I like the tents that are like the military kind of cloth that thicker the brain is just escaping me on the word I'm looking for something like that but not that huge size something that can maybe sleep 3to for do you know of anything like that out there
@livingsurvival

Canvas? A lot heavier. I believe Nortent is working on a canvas shelter. Check out Snowtrekker Tents.

@@livingsurvival Looked online everything I've ever looked at it's not been quite what I'm looking for either too big or too small I'm trying to come up with a not too heavy cotton canvas that's kind of multi-use half tempted to maybe design something myself teepee style is interesting but not quite it's almost like taking a box and putting a teepee on the top somehow I have some ideas

If I had three little kids, my hair would look more heat miser than his. I don't have hair, so I'd gladly have heat miser hair.
