This is the sum of a five day solo trip driving 600 miles from New York all along the coast of Maine. I left New York in the late evening on a Monday night and successfully avoided all of the interstate traffic as I made my way from state to state. After a brief sleep at a Connecticut rest stop, I arrived at the Nubble lighthouse just in time for sunrise. I tried to avoid any expectations but my enthusiasm and hope for a fog covered coast followed me through the morning. I have wanted to visit Maine for close to a decade and the trip finally came to fruition.
