It depends on the difficulty level chosen - the more difficult the longer the running route was. Already the medium difficulty could be sometimes challenging, and hard was just a nightmare, I probably never captured a single fort on hard.

Man this game. I loved the strategy elements but sucked so much in train robbery and fort assault. For some reason the game was really speed up in those levels. Imagine my surprise when years later as an adult I learned the game was actually based on a Belgian comic by the name of "Les Tuniques Bleues".

It wasn't emulated, this was on our Amiga 1200 back in the day. Although it did have a 64 Mb RAM in it, so it would "have more than it would ever need", but I don't think that's what caused it. Probably may never know for sure.

@@Bembel81 This was in the mid 90s, when Amiga was already through its prime in the US. And my dad liked to hack together hardware with his PC jockey buddies. But I was still a kid back in the 90s, maybe it was _just_ 32 Mb. I don't know, it's an 8 year old comment. KZitem didn't even have replies back then.
