A house in Cabarrus County, North Carolina was destroyed by a large fire Thursday night, officials said. The fire started at a home on Ivy Springs lane in Concord on Aug. 4, during a round of severe weather. Fire officials suspect the fire was started when lightning struck the home during a storm.
Paul Loffire, a firefighter from Cabarrus County, shared multiple videos and photos of the fire with WCNC Charlotte on Friday. The videos show large flames and heavy smoke pouring from the building as fire crews work to get the fire under control.
