Music is one of the saving graces for children in all countries regardless of politics and biased cultural beliefs. Thank goodness European Countries, on the whole, have maintained their interest and commitment to the performing arts. "What form we will be without performance?" African, Spanish, South American, Inuit, etc. are all struggling and in some cases succeeding with maintaining traditional music as part of their lives.

Just enjoy the music !.., Music is extremely good for developing a child's mind. Odds are theses children will be happier and more balanced than most kids. A kid doesn't get that good without having a strong inner desire to do it. And people who leave negative comments, if they really look deep enough they will see their negative comments stems from jealousy. If my child was that good, it would be my obligation that he or she had opportunity to pursue. from 6 months ago

These vids are interesting. These kids are really good at what they do, but I can't help but wonder the abuse/discipline they go through to master what they've done. Seems implausible for kids to naturally be this good at something while still maintaining a free childhood.

this kiddo is amazing! i mean look at her fingers, they are so fast that i lose sight of them. i used to play violin for four years and dealing with instruments with strings is hard.she's a prodigy, but this thing about being pressured is true. i mean she is so young, i can't imagine since when did she start playing. i bet she hurt her fingers so many times. these parents are crazy.with all her talent, u can't torture her like this and steal her childhood away. i mean she's just a kid!

@raina0226 HAHAHA! So true. =) Sad thing is all the opportunities are here in America. Asian kids struggle so much and don't get nearly as many opportunities. For example, in China, money talks. In America, it's not as prevalent and there are back-roads.

How old is the lead? She looks like she's about 3-4! Incredible! I don't care how much these kids may or may not be forced to practice. There must be adequate natural aptitude and fine motor coordination to just have the coordination to be able to play like that at such a young age!

After seeing this I wonder if we are not underestimating children. It seems they are capable of doing much more than we think. How long have they been at this? Not much since they are so young.

I could say about these LITTLE WONDERS that everything is your blood but, it may be not completely true! I think that I will be more correct if I say that what counts is the type of society you live in, and its education system... DPR Korean society is new; it raised itself from the ashes of the Korean War; they had to rediscover themselves and what life is about! Do you want to see a good example for this?-Take a look at "Americans are NOT stupid - WITH SUBTITLES" and find out by yourselves!...
@1tephania -_- that's not the point. Sorry for putting facts in a false joke.

@Eyec0n NK football players who just returned from the South African 2010 WC are now facing 'great discussions' and 'self-reproach seminars' for their failure. Their predecessors only a couple of years ago got sent to potato farms for forced labour because they couldn't make it to the Asian Cup matches. Reality is more extreme than your imagination, kid.
