Just caught them in Chicago supporting the new record. SO TIGHT! As much as I dig the new tunes, THIS and Baby Don't Do It were my favorites of the night! So funky! Thanks for the nice audio on this :)

Love James Hunter’s version of Down Home Girl, was lucky to hear it live a few times at the Turning Point in Nyack and it was amazing. Said hello to James a few times but when I said I was enjoying his last CD he asked me which songs I liked. I named my favorites but kind of felt like I was being tested. Also saw the band at the City Winery in NYC, great show. Both Lee and Damian were very friendly when we ran into them at the Turning Point. We love your music James, no BS from down home girls from Brooklyn.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lee (baro sax) when he joined Rodriguez on his South African tour in 2001. Spoke to him about music for hours. Lovely personality to go with that great skill he possesses.

Imposible no pasarlo bien en un concierto de James Hunter. Fantastic James, da protagonismo a sus músicos cosa de agradecer.- Ese HB3 la rompe.-
