Not really sure if that's correct. The human whether young, mature or old is either still developing or deteriorating. An expensive lens camera can capture elements of the image vastly more than the human eye, not to mention the sheer magnification and filters that human eyes can't cope with due to real damage from Bailey beads or spoilt by human light pollution. The only thing a real eye can beat a digital lens on is how it profoundly makes you feel inside - that's the justice such events warrant.

A random massive explosion in a vast vacuum of nothingness made this event possible? No, I do not believe it. There are three things (a Trinity ?) that make total solar eclipses possible: 1. The size of the Moon. 2. The distance between the Earth and the Moon. 3. The distance between the Sun and the Earth-Moon planetary system. A slight variation in any one of these three would make a total solar eclipse, such as the one we witnessed today, impossible. A totally random explosion, long ago, created these perfect conditions that allow total solar eclipses to happen? No, I do not believe it.

That's some pretty low standards to believe in a magic sky fairy. With the moon slowly moving away from earth, eventually a total eclipse won't be possible. Which isn't mentioned in any of these holy books. Science figured it out. A god would make more sense if the moon orbited the earth on the same plane the earth orbited the sun and at an absolute perfect distance the entire orbit so we could see a total eclipse every month, but everything is rotating and orbiting at a completely random angle.

I think the animals are freaking out because they know whats coming. I doubt they are confused and starting their nighttime routine. They are smarter then that.

Those people in the backyard...what were they thinking? One woman had the glasses on her forehead while she glared into the sun.

During total eclipse you can watch sun without damaging your eyes, because moon covers sun, but as soon, diamond ring is visible put on you glasses immediately.

@@Jaseford They were actually all visible. Venus, Mars, Saturn and Neptune to the right, Jupiter and Uranus to the right. Mercury was in close proximity to the eclipse itself, but between us and the sun so we could only see it's dark side.

At the 1:39 mark, a UFO comes out of trees on the left side going straight up. At 2:26, it quickly drops down behind the trees again. At the 3:14 mark, a blinking light comes out of the tree going straight up. It hovers halfway way up. Then, it continues up. Hovers again. Comes back down and hovers. Then drops fast behind the trees. At 4:19, it sky rockets up and gone.

as for me i was sleeping when all this happened. it was strange that i had a dream that last more than 5 hours. normally a dream would last for 10 min. i woke up and thought about a strange long dream. i log into my phone and first thing i saw was eclipes headlines. maybe my dream was associated to the eclipse?
