A day on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway on 22/03/2016, the 2nd day of the 2016 timetable (as opposed to the Flying Scotsman visit). The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is one of the premier preserved railways in the U.K. The 11:00 service from Pickering to Grosmont was in the hands of 37264. We then changed at Grosmont and waited for the following service to Whitby hauled by BR standard 4MT 2-6-0 76079. This train is first of seen pulling through the tunnel at Grosmont, and then seen at a sunny Whitby as it runs round its' train. Finally, we see the return service on it's arrival at Pickering as again it runs around its' train, and then sets off with the last train of the day back to Grosmont.
