Another great camp that is even more remote is with Ray and Leslie at Loon Lodge on Round Pond in the Allagash.

Chandler Lake Camps, thats the kind of camps I like. Reminded me of Tomhegan Camps at Moosehead Lake. _ I`ve lucky over the years to patronize other great camps, Brisket Bartlets in Brookton, Greenland Cove, Danforth, Sunset Cabins, Rockwood and a few other camps at Moosehead Lake & Bingham,Moscow area. Great hunting, food, friendships. Thanks for sharing yours. " I`ve been lucky"

My buddy and I went to a traditional sporting camp like that a couple of years ago up in Jackman. It was a great time and a very unique experience.

Nice! You can end up meeting some pretty cool people. It’s funny how people will kind of open up in these settings...sometimes it feels like you have known them forever. Some pretty good friendships can be created.

Unique opportunity to spend some time at a traditional Maine sporting camp. A lot of thought and hard work went into the formation of Chandler Lake Camps and that story was worth the trip by itself.

These videos bring back lots of memories. I live in western montana, if I was ever to move it would be either Alaska or Maine. To me Maine is a mini Alaska. You can travel down to Machias and fish in the ocean or travel 30 miles inland and hunt deer, bear ,moose. Keep up the great videos

Erick, if I had to pick 2, I think it would Alaska or Maine as well. You’re right, we have a lot of options in Maine. Just the sheer number of bodies of water that still hold native brook trout populations are enough to keep a guy busy for a lifetime. Thanks for watching!

Great video….just curious. Why did you rent a camp instead of hunting out of your own cabin…which is gorgeous! Was it just so you could hunt some new ground? Thanks!

We were visiting some friends and hunting some areas we use to hunt years ago. It was a nice change of pace and reminisce about old times. Thanks for watching!
