This video highlights two urban trout ponds stocked by the VDGIF in Northern Virginia.
Cook Lake (or Lake Cook) is a four acre pond in Cameron Run Regional Park in Alexandria Virginia, right off of Eisenhower Avenue. I fished there a little over a week after the stocking, had decent luck, and saw quite a few trout.
Locust Shade Park's pond is an eight acre pond located in Triangle, VA, also stocked by VDGIF. It is not as urban as Cook Lake, but it is sandwiched between two major highways, so you can hear some traffic. I didn't spend much time there but managed to get one and had a few other hits despite the last stocking being more than two weeks prior to my trip. The websites to the two parks are below:
