Whosoever wrote the lyrics for this album, presumably Adrian, was clearly a student of esoteric philosophy. That’s why the message conveyed is so powerful. This version of Northlane can’t be beaten ever, good times.

The wisdom this album gave all of us that listened is priceless. Every song nailed it with ancient wisdom singing through each instrument/vocal. No album will come close in my opinion, to capture such metaphorical, spiritual, and cosmic teachings. "realising my life was my dream all along" --- that is just poetic brilliance. I hope the best for everyone here and out there. We make our own realities. Treat people well and see what the world gives you in return. Peace.

I think both vocalists are great in their own right. Everyone is different so you can't expect them to be the same. I remember seeing Northlane for the first time. When they played this song, Nic at 3:39 threw that last hit and I started crying like a baby. This band is really, really powerful.

I really wish I saw them with Adrian :( Northlane just isn't the same without him... I think it sounds different. Marcus is good too, but Adrian is the best.

+MF-Penguin_ its different indeed, actually they said that they will be a new northlane, and its good, marcus is really good, but its not the same hardcore metalcore music, is something more like old post harcdore metalcore with dark sounds like deep guitar effects or things like that, is a whole new sound, but for me is a better thing. the album before node sounds like a bmth album.

This version of Northlane will never be beat. It is hard to describe in words how powerful and deep his words are. I know many of us in the comments understand. Northlane with Adrian is incredibly special and this music speaks to me on a deeper level.

This song gives me chills everytime. Amazing. I kind of miss Adrian as their Vocalist tbh, so sad I couldn't see them live when he was still in the band. But I like their new one too. Both are amazing singers in my opinion. This band is so much better than stuff like Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men etc (don't get me wrong, both great bands)

that growl and breakdown at 2:54 is literally the most badass combo ive ever heard in metalcore.. wish he just growled like that all the time instead of the high pitched emo stuff

you what? there are so many people with growls far better than his. Phil himself is far superior. Jamie Hanks from I Declare War, Jonny Davy from Job For A Cowboy, Jay Evans from Ingested and CJ from Thy Art Is Murder all destroy him in terms of growls. Adrian's thing imo is just how much raw emotion he expresses with both his lyrics and his actual performance

I miss Adrian... new northlane is an entirely different band with Marcus and its not all bad but still not even comparable to old northlane..

Brett Eggers At times I’m split, sometimes I prefer Adrian, sometimes I prefer Marcus. I love the NOSTALGIA of the original Northlane, even though I was late to the party. At the same time I get what they are trying to achieve with Marcus and their current sound. I’m still really excited to see what they are working on with the new bassist. I completely get what your saying about old Northlane not being comparable because the lyrics were very Intuitive and the combo of Adrian’s screams over the backdrop of those simple chuggy grimey riffs is something to behold. They still pump out awesome music though with a great message. Rot, Intuition, Paragon, Zero-One, Solar, Node, Ra, Weightless are all great songs that are up their with some of my favorite old Northlane tracks.
