Well done! (Cheese slicer would be more accurate than cheese grater, for people learning from Norwegian to English. A grater makes very tiny bits of cheese to sprinkle on pizza or salads.A slicer makes flat pieces of cheese for sandwiches.) Keep up the good work.

Norway At Home Haha. Thanks! That is so true! Absolutely good point! (this video is done on the spot.. sometimes its hard to find the correct translators. But im thinking since people can see the sliser, most people will hopefully understand what i mean! :)

Norwegian Teacher - Karin I was happy that my studies of the Norwegian Language and Culture have evolved to the point - that I recognized the "ostehøvel" before you identified it.

Hi Karin! Im a 14 years old who just started learning norwegian (bokmål) via internet, thanks to people like you who post videos and exercises for people like me, and I dont actually know which books are better for self-teaching norwegian... can you give me some advice? Here in Spain, we don't have many norwegian academies or book shops which sell Norwegian A1-B2 books... thanks for everything, your videos helped me a lot!

Takk for denne videoen, det var veldig nyttig! Jeg har lært norsk i 3 år og aldri har jeg tenkt å lære disse "kitchen tools". :) Forresten, hvordan sier du "kitchen tools in general" på norsk? Takk på forhånd!

Hi there, thank you so much for all the videos. Im trying to learn Norwegian hoping to teach my toddlers. But i noticed you mentioned in your caption that what you are teaching is an east dialect-would it affect them in future when they try to apply to further their study in Norway (as in would they not able to read the formal norwegian language)?

What about some videos on building longer more complex sentences? Maybe only in Norwegian?
@SuperNemx

Hey Karin, have you made any videos about giving commands? Negative commands to be exact. like "Don't touch that", would that be "ikke rør det" or "rør ikke det"?
@NorwegianTeacher
9 жыл бұрын
SuperNemx Hmm... I have never thought about this.. I have not done a video about this no.. And you would say "ikke rør det". :) But everyone would know what you meant with the last. :)

Norwegian Teacher - Karin Interesting! In the video om påske, you told your husband "snakk ikke teit!" - at least that's what I remember the word order - is that a more common word order for that? It was really funny. :))
