this was so needed. it reminds me of when Jesus went to the house with the 2 women and one was busy running around while the other was at his feet. and He told the busy woman (in so many words) that she had her priorities out of order. if our relationship with God isn't top priority it needs to be!

"If your family doesn't appreciate what your doing, if the people around you aren't believers, you can rest assured that your God sees what you're doing and he is happy to have a relationship with you" ❤🥺 I have a 3 year old son, both of my parents have stage 4 cancer, and I've been in and out of hospitals for the past month. I've been struggling to maintain the house as a result, but I've truly been working so hard to clean and tidy up whenever I am home. Yet, my husband tells me "you do nothing around the house". It breaks my heart when he doesn't acknowledge the current season I'm in as well as how much work I still do around the house. He also isn't a believer. So what you said at the end brought me to tears. I'm so thankful for a living God who acknowledges the love I put into my family and home, even when my husband doesn't.

Bless your heart! I will be in prayer for you and your family. I know the pain of having a parent with a life threatening illness and the death of a parent, as well as the pain of having a critical husband. God sees it all and he knows your heart, effort and worth in his eyes. Focus your eyes on Jesus and he will lift you up. I'm so sorry for what you are going through and I will pray for God's approval to be enough so you can still show love and a contented spirit to your husband in the midst of criticism. ❤️

This was spot on Tabitha. I've lied to myself, I keep busy, and I'm not lazy by "man's standards" But spiritual laziness is where I'm still failing. Thank you for the conviction, i really feel God was speaking to me. I definitely need to pray more. I loved your tips for slipping in little prayer throughout the day. You've impacted me greatly over the years and it just keeps getting better.

We spend so much time taking care of THINGS. Some "laziness" is our spirit's exhaustion in dealing with this materialistic world. We are not meant to spend out days putting up things, organizing things, polishing things, repairing things, etc. We have become bogged down. Once in this trap, it is difficult to escape.

Can I just say that I actually really enjoy the “harsh” things you say. Sometimes I need to hear it! I’ve been having some anxiety this week and I know I’ve been lazy. I know if I choose not to be lazy, it will actually help my anxiety. Sometimes we do the wrong thing even when we know what’s right. It’s good to have friends who will point it out. It helps us grow. I respect you Tabitha for saying “harsh” things. You are doing it to help others, not yourself. It shows your integrity in my opinion.

What a blessing you are, very inspirational. I am a single male and that line about being a workaholic and still disappointing the Lord with spiritual laziness hit me hard. I don't know if this was in this video or another of yours that I was watching but it said maybe you just don't know, or weren't taught, but now you are an adult and you can learn. I am the type of person who has to know the ins and outs of everything or I get overwhelmed, like a form of perfectionism I think. And I get discouraged quickly and easily and give up when I don't know what type of cleaner I'm supposed to use or what the best item or tool is to use for a specific surface or material. And I end up falling short in the cleanliness department. I realized the other day I can treat this like any other area of life I am trying to get better at. I can study, I can watch videos, I can read books. For some reason I never realized I can do this for cleaning... it seems like something we're just supposed to know how to do. I want to get rid of this trait of being a sluggard. I really do wish a woman was able to keep the home while I worked as I feel like cleaning is a weak point of mine. But that is not how my cards played out. So I have to take initiative and get this area of my life together. Thank you for these videos, I am hoping they do a work in me.

Thank you for this video. I’ve battled with depression and anxiety for so many years. I can remember having issues as a little girl. I am 55 now. I have been healed from Stage Two Esophageal Cancer. I have always had health problems. And I still do. I am so thankful to God that He healed me from cancer. I just pray that he will heal my mind of my mental issues. Also that He will heal my body of all my other health problems. I do pray and read my Bible. I really need help to stop being lazy about reading my Bible and going to church. I’m not giving Satan any glory but when I need to be going to church and reading my Bible more he makes me tired or sick. My prayers to God is that He will stop Satan from attacking me in these areas. Please pray for me. I really do appreciate all the prayers and support from you and all your other viewers. God bless you. And again, thank you for your video. It helps to know that I’m not alone. 🙏🏻❤️ I want to do what God wants and be who He wants me to be. 🙏🏻

I thank the Holy Spirit for His conviction and not condemnation! When I feel overwhelmed I say out loud, “This is NOT that hard! The devil is a liar. I can do this! With the help of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit!!” The truth is most things that feel overwhelming are not hard at all to do. I also make myself commit to doing something for 10 minutes. I’ll listen to a sermon or Christian music. Once I get started I often do more than 10 minutes but even if I don’t it’s amazing what you can get done in 10 minutes and you feel better for sure. I have chronic health problems that include fatigue, lightheadedness and dizziness. But I also find that on the days I have to get up and do something I do better. Thank you for your encouragement!! God bless!!

@@ThisMamasFaith You are the one talking about the importance of not being lazy, I don't care if you make it or not, but if the goal is too not be lazy, you could do better. The bottom sheet could have been pulled tighter, the top sheet tucked with a nice fold at the top and it pulled down and fixed at the bottom. The top blanket could have been tugged flatter from the sides as well. I use to do housekeeping, it doesn't take that much longer to do it better. You can make it lazy if you want, you can do better though.

@@ThisMamasFaith I'm not just picking on you either, it only takes a second here and there as you go around the bed, it's pretty much the same as you did with slightly more effort. Might take you 30 extra seconds to do it right. Also it might be helpful to keep in mind how you felt when you responded, so you don't make your viewers feel like you are feeling. I have extremely good housekeeping knowledge and skills, so don't feel bad. My work is usually higher for standards then most inspectors, but I had more time with the hotel and to make lists then they did. I came to this video thinking it would counsel me or provide some sort of reassurance on how I’ve been feeling about a close friend of mine. She seems so neglectful, lazy and sloth-like. It really is bothering me because I love her but also because I overwork myself all day every day. So I feel annoyed and upset with her lack of house work, lack of self care, and lack of attention when it comes to her family members. Guess what I realized from this video - I am spiritually lazy. There is more I could be doing to spend more time with God. He loves me and wants the best for me. I have work to do within myself. Thank you for this video ❤

I love the reminder of what God expects from us and how we need to obey. Weather it be spiritual or physical. Thank you

Your videos are quite refreshing and a tad shocking I myself was raised up traditional Roman Catholic and I never heard a Catholic speak about Jesus and as much about Jesus as you do which is wonderful We were not even allowed to see the Bible much less read it I am no longer a traditional Roman Catholic as I was born again by grace through faith in Jesus Christ back in 2010 when I believed the gospel which is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ I do hope and pray that you are saved also!

I’m glad I can break that stereotype for you that Catholics don’t talk about Jesus and read the Bible 😆 Thank you for watching!

Thank you so much for the beautiful encouragement. I listened on Sunday morning as I was getting ready for church. My house is clean but I was convicted that I neglected the Lord this week. 💔 thank God for grace!
