I know some people didn't get to the monologue at the end thinking it was over when you unplugged your guitar mate. But honestly the concept of the 'eternal dance 'is one of the most profound things I have ever heard, a lyric that hits me even months after I first heard it. A perfect description of illness, depression symptoms and the struggle with within. It's something that I will remember for the rest of my days. Portraying you experience in the way you have has already and will continue to help others, even perhaps saving lives. You continually express your thanks to people who watch and listen to this and your other work. I was lead here by a link to "Hi Ren" that Sinéad O'Connor posted on her Twitter account. To be recognized by the biggest icon of my lifetime who fought so hard but lost her battle with mental illness and a mother's grief can't be overlooked. If she put his video on her page is an incredible compliment. I am so glad I clicked on it! Hi Ren was 9 minutes long?????? Wow, it shows how captivating he is when you feel that it flew past too fast, leaving you with eyes and mouth wide open, and you want to catch up, pull it back and ride it again and again! What a masterpiece. This 49 year old American chick who grew up in the punk scene, to later learn she's chronically ill with a constanly severely painful genetic degeneratuve connective tissue disorder, I find Ren to be a breath of fresh air with SUCH a beautiful voice that makes poetry out of pain, speaking the reality of life with chronic illness and the effects of breaking the chains that bind us into that "sick person". Rap is definitely not my cup of tea, but if I have to bite the bullet and choke it down, I would pick Ren's diversely unique style, and the voice of poetic justice he offers not only the chronically ill, but people as incredible as Sinéad O'Connor who also has no internetin fame or money, as well as everybody else around the world. Thank you for being alive and handing us magic.

My wife introduced me to hi Ren when it first came out. Since then I've been hooked on this man's skill and creativity. Over A year ago my wife started getting sick in the summertime, and her mental health was getting worse. At first doctors couldn't find anything wrong and basically said she was making stuff up. Went to mental health specialists and they told her she had severe dissociation and schizophrenic along with a bunch of other mental illnesses. She was prescribed antipsychotics like busperone. Those medications made her mental state worse. She was about to give up. She wanted to die because we have two kids and she couldn't be the mother she knew she had to be. I had to work, take care of her while home and taking care of my kids. two months before the year mark of being sick, we finally found out she had "alpha gal" (red meat allergy) from a tick bite that she had gotten months prior. She was still sick though. She stayed in bed, she couldn't stand, she lost a lot of weight, she can't eat any kind of red meat and any type of product that comes from mammals. Because of hi Ren and sick boi, I had my suspicion that maybe she had Lyme, the symptoms she had matched that of Lyme disease. So we got her tested, she did not have that. She contracted something else called tularemia (aka rabbit fever) from this tick bite, and also rocky mountain spotted fever which surprisingly remained dormant so she didn't have any symptoms from that. She finally got powerful antibiotics for her sickness. But like ren, she's still dealing with the aftermath of her sickness. She now has heart problems, brain damage and a bunch of other problems. She's getting better though, she still getting treatment for the lingering health problems. Ren, if you happen see this by a stroke of luck. I know you're a busy man, but I just want to say thank you for being who you are. It's weird being a stranger and saying that. But yes I'm a huge fan all the way from bumfuck nowhere sapulpa, Oklahoma. Thank you again from my wife and me. "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die." God bless, brother

I think everyone would have watched until the end as soon as it started you invited us into your story and we were with the whole way

I would really love the opportunity to talk with Ren about who guides him spiritually. I feel like his words are a personal bible.

Its not often a man communicates whats in his heart in such a compelling narrative, laying his heart bare as he tackles those demons and turns them into angels. Theres a distance with most performance , Ren is there naked in front of you and you feel naked because his truth is an eternal truth and it is your truth as well

Someone commented that Ren is a modern bard, and I couldn't agree more.

@RenMakesMusic your music turns on the lights in the dark my mind is the twilight, a word can suffice just one, but too understand you have to lower yourself to understand our hardships.

Tbh - "Hi Ren" is one of the most important artworks within the last 50 years. Prove me wrong.

It's interesting this song was sent to me because they said it reminded them of me and the struggles I go through. I believe this type of music has to hit personally in order to really enjoy it. IF it doesn't, count yourself very fortunate..There's nothing cool about mental illness or having this perception of life it's a terrible battle.

I watched one reaction that was really good but then it left off the ending which is the heart and humanity of the whole piece!!
