This video was soooo useful for me. I had been looking up every guide in existence as someone new to storage tech, and every one confused me. This one cleared things up and made me realise that things like chunk loading are necessary for certain designs. This video cleared up a lot of confusion and fear of these systems on my part. Thanks

I really needed this video. I have outgrown my first storage system (the 41 design you showed) and need to upgrade, but I was completely overwhelmed by the options. I need some bulk and some for all those items I only have a few stacks of. So combining two systems is what I need to figure out. Thanks for making this!

I saw 2 other options worth mentioning in my opinion. A multi item sorter from Lummie Thief, it uses hopper minecarts so its not unload proof i think, but its super fast, i use it as my main one, i dont have any complain about it. The other one is from Etho, where you store everytihing in shulker boxes, and the sistem automatically sorts out the shulker boxes which contains the item you search for. The first contraption uses relatively big amount of materials, while the one from Etho very little. One is complicated but fast, the other lazy and a litel slower. I just wanted to mention them as another concepts that you dont need something relying on waterstreams, hopper streams, and a lot of 41 stackable. Also with the 41 stackables you can put one filter item in the first slot and 11 filler items in the remaing 4, so itt can pick up 63 baches instead of the 23 with 41 filters.

First time getting to check out one of your vids. Very informative. I'm not particularly good at designing redstone systems myself but enjoy seeing what is possible. Then of course deciding what I want to utilise myself. Really appreciate the tiered approach too. In my last world I kind of went straight into large/efficient farms/storage systems and got kind of burnt out as I wasn't doing my passion which is building. Think in my next world I'm gonna go with simpler designs then if I require more resources slowly upgrade. Thank you will be checking out more of your videos.

I would say its something like this: 1st level - ianxo4, 1st day iron farm. It can be completed in a first minecraft day, as the title suggests! kzitem.info/news/bejne/jqWP335so5iEg4o 2nd level - Gnembon, 20 pod version. You can make it part by part, 3 villagers per pod. The only requirement is a disarmed pillager. kzitem.info/news/bejne/wIVs12lps590gI4 3rd level - idk, lol. ilmango, 150,000 Iron/h Farm (1.14.3pre1) I guess, but it's a snapshot video. No idea on its current performance in terms of MSPT, essentially it's a portal chunk tower: kzitem.info/news/bejne/1XyKp3h7saCVjGk Also, general info on iron farms for everyone, video by LogicalGeekBoy : kzitem.info/news/bejne/o4mty2GgnqSIi20

im currently planning on creating a storage system for me on 3 year old my private survival mc server. I think im gonna stick to level 1 for that, but with some cool features. I dont use water, so every item should be safe, I also dont use the 41-1-1-1-1 filter, but a 1-1-1-1-18 filter, since my tileable rows are 2 wide. Im also gonna add 2 lamps that check if any item of that type is in the storage or if the item space is full. Also 5 doublechests+5 hopper space for every item. (idk if its gonna be enough for cobble, but everything elso should fit) idk yet how many items im gonna want to sort automatically, maybe like 200-300 for starters, since many others are very situational items

Very cool, don't discredit yourself, putting together one of these is an achivement. I just wonder why did you use 5 chunk loaders for an 11x3 chunk area. (I didn't check the download) Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that each should load a 3x3 area, so 4 would be enough. (overlapping in the middle) Was it because the empty slices toward the edge were later additions?
