This trailer was not meant to haul a bulldozer. Mine broke in half from just the weight of the plastic bulldozer. I used to build many customized trucks. Now that I'm retiring I'm looking at getting back into the hobby myself. There is a company (or was) called Small Parts Inc that has a bunch of tiny parts. Also I think brass parts used on model railroad equipment might be less tedious to install. You have done a great job with the wood decking.

Awesome trailer bro! Gotta build it before finishing the truck, but wait gotta build the dozer before the trailer, but wait we gotta build a figure/driver for the dozer, but wait the driver needs a dog... Lol j.k., Gonna look super cool, those nuts will look really nice on there, how do those nuts come off the sprue?? I got a little chuckle when you said your buddy said you can't use them being metric! Lol, Like your gonna be wrenching on them, Lol. Meng set D I'd like to get some for my race car builds but I don't know how you get them off, Do you just cut them out and clean em up? Your up to 600 subs!! Congrats well deserved!!! Honestly, I figured you had a few thousand with all your great videos... So sorry to hear about your loss.

Thanks for watching Mike! The Meng bolts can shaved off with a chisel or a hobby knife. Just keep a close eye on the nut when you cut it. I needed one and you'll notice a few are gone. Lol, no, you are 100% right about the circle of builds......which comes first the chicken or the trailer......yeah that sounds right. And thanks for the condolences, we appreciate that greatly

The bolt heads I have used on various nonmilitary models are photo etch ones. Cutting them out is easy as long as you place tape on them. Otherwise they go flying around. Something else I have used is simulated weld. It's in 1/35 scale for tanks, but still looks good on a 1/25 scale model. I recently build a flatbed trailer and bought some ratchet handles and strap material to secure my load with. They too were photo etch and were a challenge to assemble. Lastly, I found a source for small photo etch wire ties for my wiring and pressure lines underneath my semi trucks.

as far as the tire marks (black) on the trailer that dont look right at all .u will not have black like that on a lowboy..u will have some tire marks , but that looks like a burn out at a drag strip..JS
