Neurodiversity is a term that has quickly become popular across the board, but do you know how to best support neurodivergent individuals? Victoria aids her audience in understanding the importance of meeting someone where they are at especially when it comes to being confident through writing and speaking. This talk provides ideas for tailored tools and supportive environments that can unlock the untapped brilliance of nuerodivergent individuals. Victoria Erdel García is the founder of Vici Coaching, LLC, a communication coaching service that helps adults with ADHD work with their brains to become confident writers and speakers. Diagnosed with combined ADHD, Victoria understands the communication challenges that neurodivergent people face; she is committed to helping her clients feel heard.
Victoria received her bachelor's in Sociology and TESOL from the University of Notre Dame and her master's in Communication from Purdue University. She has written for publications such as Teen Vogue and Brain & Life Magazine and has delivered speeches at various conferences and media outlets.
She is also the founder of The Trafficking Dispatch, an anti-trafficking podcast that ran from 2018-2019 that led to being recognized as a Youth Innovator by the United Nations. She now lives in Memphis where she volunteers through the Junior League of Memphis and recently graduated from the New Memphis Embark Program.
