Me TOO! been waiting to see how it went at the track. Sorry it didn't go well. Bill things happen when you are basically rebuilding the whole truck and most of all, working all hours of the night. When you are tired, the simplest things can go wrong. The bright side Jr. is getting good at engine removal and installation. Also when things are swinging to trouble side, they eventually swing back to the good side and when that happens! It tends to be real good! Thanks for the update. Never Lift!

Keep up the great work, thank you to the SRC Family

Wish I had a dad to teach me mechanics and how to work on cars while growing up. My dad retired from the military after 20 years and was never around, always traveling and busy working so I had to grow up with my grandparents in a little country village in the thumb of Michigan called Verona, Michigan. I love your videos, their real entertaining and the first thing I look for in the morning while I drink my coffee but now you started uploading late at night so kinda messed up my routine, lol. Like most of us fans in here , we all had that favorite TV show or shows growing that we couldn't wait for the next episode to come every week... whether it was 30 mins or an hour long ... you just got so excited your show was starting in 5 mins!!!! Well as time has past my show or shows (list ) has gotten shorter.... Til I found the SRC FAMILY which includes all of the SRC and Molly Motosports.... with all this being said , I had a gut feeling something had gone terribly wrong and waited anxiously for this episode to drop!!! Now I'm good for a few days LOL ... well I'm am so glad you all have found and corrected the oil leak and fuel delivery problem!!!! Best of luck to The Best FAMILY (SRC) on you tube!!! Yall rock in so many ways period!!! Thank you Ole Man for your time with this great experience you share!!!! Will be waiting for y'alls next video for sure!!! LOVE YOU GUYS

Don’t beat yourself up about the rear main. Shit happens. I a ASE certified master auto and truck technician, and over the last 48 years of wrenching and diagnosing, it happens to us all. Your logic on the initial setup with the carb was spot on. I would have went the same way. As far as pulling the engine, it’s just a bit of labor. Builds character fir billy jr and in the end, again we all have been there. Love your channels and feel like I know you do well. I’ve seen every video. I look forward to coming hone and relaxing getting the update on your deal. You guys are great.

With all these struggles you know this thing is going to fly. Don't feel bad about the rear main, I had to redo one that had been turned around backwards in the cap and it was pouring when we started it. In my buddies 69 camaro 396/375, that was a fresh build. It had just been picked-up from Gene Fulton's, if you can believe that.

If you line hone a 400 main journal block , you end up cutting the the ridge that holds the rear main seal out to the size of the main journal. To fix ,, cut a zip tie to lay inside the rear main seal groove, no more leak. We have done this to every 400 main block that we honed the Miam crank bores.

It ain't the short Struggle Bus either, y'all got the stretched out Greyhound for this trip.
