It's crazy when you learn about world affairs and it sounds like you're learning about history but then you realize while you were growing up all of this was happening. This wasn't history, This was somebody else's reality while I was living in my happy little bubble in the US. This is just a difference in what you have access to the difference in technology,education, economy,etc respect and listen to the stories of your elders especially if they're from another country you will be surprised or what you will learn and what they have lived through.(i was born in 1990)

During his reign he ordered the construction of abortion clinics underground universities so he'd force girls he'd raped to have abortions, he killed innocent people, he once ordered the execution of a at dent just because he studied in the US, he once ordered the mass murder of prisoners just because they rioted due to the conditions they were living under in his prisons and most of those prisoners were actually his political enemies and not criminals yeah he was a good man indeed 😒

That's the propaganda by western media but rebels were al qeada terrorist who massacred civilians also lynching Africans and using them as slaves. They attacked police stations and army, looting. @@diegosoares1281 the problem is a lot of African countries were colonized by France. He got his country free from that and became a self sustaining country. No French imports. The money that he kept went to the people of the country. Not to mention most things were free in that country due to him utilizing that money for the people. Majority of his country loved him but the west made him out to be the opposite. Again everything in the video was allegedly and suspected of but in reality he was the blueprint for a self sustaining country that other countries started to follow and it all started when he told the United Nations he was done with them. Kaddafi wasn’t having it and that’s what got him killed.

I was a little disappointed that the part on Idi Amin was so dry, although this is obviously about the plain facts and not a study in personality types. But that guy was somehow "not quite right"; a part of his real creepiness was how jovial he tried to come across as being. Nearly every picturre I've seen of Amin shows him smiling broadly, as though he's attempting to feign friendliness- in the face of actions which speak for themselves. The disconnect had a bizarrely unnerving effect, & struck me, for one, as being far more threatening than a set glare might have been. *At the same time: There is an element of sensationalism to all of this, and of xenophobia- a comforting and safe way to give voice to fears about Africa (and its black peoples) is to focus our horror on its dictators and their brutality, meanwhile feeling assured of our own compassion- thus: absence of xenophobia!- for the populations they oppressed.
