Great video Simon! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I know it takes away from ur personal time at the show. Looks like a great time. Some really nice pipes there from Blakemar and Northern Briars. Thanks again for picking up that bacco for me! Very excited. Those Gawith samples look great and very generous too. Enjoy the trip!! Best wishes and safe travels.

It was great to see you again, always a pleasure. the Balkan No7. is fantastic I am smoking a bowl of that now, I very much hope this makes it to the market as I could see me getting it regularly. Nice amount of Latakia but not overpowering and some sweetness from the virginias. I only picked up three samples looks like I missed out on a fair few others. I shall watch with interest for the results of the Morta carvings :)

Hi Simon: Loved the auction, that first pipe on the block, a Dunhill for about 90 bucks American, looked like a steal. Keep puffin.

Thanks for taking us along! I lived in Nottingham for 5 years and attending the Nottingham Pipe Club from about 2011-2013 when I could. Lots of familiar faces there in the crowd. Even saw Krystof walk by and shake Ian's hand briefly! (He designed Celtic Twilight plug at Gauntley's way back) Where exactly was that pub in the latter half of the video before the Gawith & Hoggarth table and giveaway/ drawing? I think that guy from G&H is also named Glyn? He used to come to the Notts pipe clubs a lot as well. Very much enjoyed this video -- it took me back to some Halcyon days. Best, Eric

Great video. Nothing like getting a bunch of samples right before a trip. I always worry about security confiscating my baccy for some unknown reason.

Am I the only person that thinks it remarkable for there to be several countries that are completely foreign to one another, yet they speak the same language, plus or minus accents and maybe a few differing word choices and euphemisms?

Hey Simon. Why do I find the UK so fascinating?! I'm in California. We have many awful and silly laws....only the UK seems to be able to top us when it comes to this Nazi scheme of things!! No offense! Hahaha! But we are very young here compared to England. Nothing here over 200 years old!! Maybe you guys have deeper roots in history. The UK seems to have maintained some class and dignity with the changing times....with a nice firm root in the culture. All culture and history is being erased here. Sometimes rewritten....sometimes "better" forgotten. It's sad. You made a fantastic vid here!! You really mixed it up like a true "KZitemr"! Hahahaha! Splendid. Now! Let's hear that filthy story! Haha! Good day Simon

@@salmonline you are right, of course, Sam. It's just a comparison. Things are definitely more than OK. This is still a beautiful world, Now..... I wish they would stop closing all my favorite stores and Hangouts and demolishing all the buildings that make a my favorite places what they are. Gotta have some sadness in life to prop up the happy stuff! Have a great day, Sam! Yes I wish Southern California respected it's culture and history. Sorry that's so dramatic. I prefer to call it "well written". Hahahaha

@@Coconutscott hahaha! Yes, Scott! A beautiful nightmare!! I love California....it's my home and we have everything you could ever want here! Unfortunately, we are also the model for Communism in this country. The crazy stuff gets tried out here first....then everyone else has to be "cool" and progressive like us Holly-wierdos!! It's quite the paradox! We also produce some very fine rebels here! Haha! Have a good one Scott!
