I am absolutely willing to head out there if we could make it work out the financials.. I need somebody to spearhead it on that end. I know some departments were interested. I’d love to put something together.👍

Absolutely monster skills, amazing job!! One question: while slowing down abruptly do you use engine braking alongside with the front and rear brakes or do you just use the brakes?
@PoliceMotorTraining
4 ай бұрын
If it’s very short and quick sections, I’m just going onto the brakes, but if it’s a longer section, I may benefit from a little bit of engine breaking however, I’m also starting to set up the clutch and throttle so I’m in the frictions zone before I change direction so if there is engine breaking, it’s pretty minimal. I appreciate the compliment as well, thank you for your support.

I really like your advice on the channel. I just became a motor a few months ago and am trying to get better with some of the patters and making tight u turns. Any chance I can send you a video of me in a pattern to get a little advice. Thanks!

Thanks Quinn, for all that you have taught us. I ride a Road King. How, on earth do you get the motorcycle to lean while sitting “straight-up?” The only way I can initiate a lean is to lean my torso inward. I see most do the same thing. What is your secret?
@PoliceMotorTraining
Жыл бұрын
to INITIATE a lean, then yes, you need some action on your part to get the ball rolling- countersteering, however slight- but once the bike starts dropping in, I never fall in with it (slow speed). Watch my Balance Ball video and I talk about floating on top of the bike as it falls around me. This is what I do in order to keep my weight in the correct position all the time. Good luck and keep me posted!

@@PoliceMotorTraining Thank you so much, Quinn…the “initiating” the turn (or tip, or drop) is precisely what everyone else misses (or avoids) describing. I always thought I was doing something wrong, by “tipping-in” slightly. I have watched your “balance ball” video many times - loved it!
