Nice vid! You showed some functionality I haven't seen in other "pro in-depth" videos - Thx! Strange off-topic Question though: sometimes when you stopped playback on clips, there were some audible pops - at kzitem.info/news/bejne/1numnKRvk4BkbJg and at kzitem.info/news/bejne/1numnKRvk4BkbJg - I've experienced the same thing when stopping playback (I'm a semi-noob with Ableton Live). Is that normal behaviour for Live? And does that happen when you stop playback during a performance?
@AudioHaze

I just noticed! I didn't realize until you pointed it out. My guess (although it is just a guess) is that it has to do with the amount of volume I'm pumping through this thing, and if I remember right it ends with a limiter which is trying its best not to let this thing clip. So at the end, perhaps the hard cut off causes a slight clip. In your experience, were you working with loud instrumentation like my track here?
@moreorlesto

@@AudioHaze Yep, AND I had a limiter on the master out. Maybe that's also had something to do with it? At any rate, I've ordered myself a Launchpad. Looking forward to getting lost in that.....!

Hey man, I am doing an indie singer songwriter thing (shins, broken bells, etc) with only myself. In my studio, I play all the instruments myself. My partner wants to join in with me, and do like a 2 piece band right. Maybe go out and play these songs live. My partner does not play an instrument, but was wondering if this was enough to launch loops, clips, samples, ambient stuff, basically a band in the box. A lot of which I record myself in my studio, and possibly turn into loops that she can trigger. Is this enough to do simple things like launching loops and clips and adding ambient, things basically a full backing track controlled by her while I play guitar and sing. Or do we need to go with a stand alone like an MPC for that kind of thing? Since its stand alone.

Quick question, The reason why I’m not thinking of not buying this is that I feel like there’s no sequence mode. I’m not a finger drummer and just need a controller but also a machine that I can lay chords and lay drums without learning how to finger drum. Would the Launchpad have a sequence mode by just tapping like the circuit tracks or Maschine? Thanks for this vid!

Thats a good question! There's custom setting on the launchpad that I believe lets you choose to map anything to anything, but beyond returns, pan, and volume the "slider" menu of the launchpad doesn't have anything I believe. To be honest, I have a cheap korg nanokontrol that I use to control knob elements, I highly recommend if you're looking for a budget control for mappable faders and knobs! The launchpad and the nanokontrol are a killer duo

Then I have track 5-8 be 4 other things, like plugins or other stock sounds. Can you run it all at the same time?

But you literally had only *84* subscribers when I got here.
