Hello!
It has been a while. A year and 7 months actually. Where to start?
First off with thanks. Thanks to my brother who inspired me to make this video, by setting me a challenge to get unstuck this month. What an incredible help it has been to have him there, giving me a nudge over the finishing line of what feels like a marathon. Thanks to my amazing students/friends at wrkshp.eu, to you for watching, sharing your thoughts in comments, and even writing me emails to check in if I'm ok. I'm blessed for all those things and much more.
Behind me is a lot of work to get here. Work on my live set. Work on my bedroom-to-studio transformation. Work on myself. There's so much to talk about. It's a funny old life.
I hope you're really well. It's been a particularly crazy few years for a lot of us. If ever you're struggling, talk. Talk to anyone. A friend. A professional. Or even start by just talking/listening to yourself (I mean it). It's good to talk.
Take care out there 🙏🏼
Andri
p.s. my brother also challenged himself to make a video (this was our deal with each other, which worked so well). He hasn't made many videos, and yet wants to explore that world, and I really think he should. If you like either hand-drawn Japanese DJ/rap apps or his recently-made, soothing video about a note-taking app and coding-related things, do check his channel: / @styrmis
