I just fell in love with the soft, flexible notebooks. I purchased a few, but i haven't dove into starting any of them yet. The other thing I have learned is I love those craft journals from A&O. I was going through all of my journals one day and ran across one I never used and actually decided to use it as a quarterly craft journal and love it. I would be super excited to win this dot grid one. 1. I love the moon and 2. I love dot grid. Wish I was going to be in NC area to join you for a meet up, that would have been a great part of my vacation week. Be safe in your travels.

That's exactly what I have been doing. I've been trying to use the notebooks that I have and ending up with things being in multiple notebooks, and it's driving me insane. So, I'm in the process of putting all of my writing things into one major notebook and all of my Prep-writing stuff in another. And keeping the B6 stalogy as my plotting and another notebook for writing out scenes and new add-in chapters and sub-titles.

❤ I'm currently debating the pros and cons of trad publishing vs self publishing. My biggest issue is the catch 22 of need time to write so I can make money at it to live, but I need to work so I have money to live, which gives me no time to write. I'm seriously considering taking publish and thrive....if not this time then next time you do it. I want to get this publishing ball rolling somehow.

If you like the soft notebooks, you should try the Wonderland 222 Notebooks. They use Tomoe River Paper and they come in half year or full year. I use them for my novel plotting and I love the paper and the way they are set up in quaters with an index. I also love how they aren't dated, so I don't feel bad if I miss a day.

I've kept an 'author's notebook' for years which blends things from three of your different notebooks. I think I like the idea of breaking them out into purpose-bound areas like stories I'm writing and stories I'm reading/consuming. The A&O notebook is beautiful - love the idea of craft paper pages - I hope you pick me to win! Also, loving the concept for your friend's book and can't wait to read it. Not much of a romance reader but I love new interpolations of classics... sort of a literary version of a cover song or remix.

This was my first year of seriously trying to use a planner and I definitely had my ups and downs...more downs than ups, but I also learned enough to try again next year with some changes. I realized as much as I like the quarterly system, I have to have a planner for the whole year. I tried a full sized Happy Planner and that simply did not work for me at all. Something about seeing those big pages of blank columns just sent my brain into freeze mode. I gave it a good try from about May to August, but I haven't touched it since September. Decorating it was fun, when I had the time to do it, but most of the time i didn't and so it looked stark and functional with way too much white space. So next year I want something smaller, and prettier with much smaller blocks to write in. I've never had anything Erin Condren before so I've decided that if I win Nano I'm going to get myself an Erin Condren planner and try that for next year

I have been using up notebooks and stealing paper from one happy note to put it on another where I'm handwriting my notebook. Started to use one of those fancy bullet journals as my "grimoire" and will start using another notebook to write lyrics of songs I want to learn (most of them are fully in Korean 😅) but I plan to do them like junk journal style if I can adding screenshots from the music videos or concerts that I find online. Just trying to get my creativity flowing while also trying to keep my Nano count on par with the page. Also started to cover dates from an old planner because I plan to use it to keep track of my writing next year and with no dates I just need to add it myself and won't feel bad to see an empty space when I don't manage to write. Already waiting for the Happy Planner winter deals to get more papers and notebooks as I need them all😅 Hugs
