Well I live less than an hour away from one of the largest cities in the United States, that being Atlanta Georgia and I would imagine if another country fired several nukes here, Atlanta being such a densely populated area would be one of the targets for sure, so I would imagine my best bet to avoid nuclear fallout would be to just get lucky and die in the blast so it's painless. One of my two workplaces is only 20 minutes from Atlanta, so I guess my best bet would be to be at work when it happens. I would rather die instantly then to suffer from radiation poisoning.

What i got from another channel is Cover attic vent windows and doors with plastic and good tape plus cardboard and or wood on the inside. If you're in a room or basement below ground level add dirt to the area where the house meets the ground so fall out doesn't creep in where the wood meets the concrete. Stay inside for a minimum of 3 days! But longer if you can. Lay on the floor these 3+ days. If in a basement make sure your head is in the corner, its the safest spot. Bury yourself in a 10' by 10' space. If possible under and between 4" of lead or 10" of steal or 24" of concrete or 36" of dirt or 72 " of water via buckets etc or 110" of wood can give a pf of 1000.

The risk of another nuclear explosion is maybe higher than extremely unlikely and likely will occur some day on the law of averages. The deterrent argument is very relevant as proven since 1945 but people commit suicide and strange things have happened such as the Jonestown massacre and 9/11 where people have been unconcerned with death only a cause so it only takes someone in an appropriate frame of mind with likely accomplices to go through with it.

To be fair, most people in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were killed by the initial blast, or the direct consequences of it (the firestorm, flash burns etc.) That being said, the fallout did cause deaths and horrible injury, and cancer plagued that generation. There is one guy who survived BOTH nuclear strikes, and managed to live to a ripe old age. He did however have multiple cancers and multiple cancer treatments during his life. So yes the blast is the primary cause of death, but the fallout is a slow burner when it comes to health. But if you want one piece of sage wisdom about surviving a nuclear blast it is this: Dont live in a location that is a target. If you live in London, Manchester, Bristol, or any other major city, you are toast. If you live by a major military base, or especially an airbase, you are toast. It always makes me chuckle when people who live in large cities want advice about CBRN when they are literally positioning themselves directly at a potential ground zero. The only guaranteed way to increase your survival chances is DONT live somewhere that you know is a target. This can all be looked up online.

Just like we did in the 1955 and the Bay of Pigs, go into another building, and pray!

it was realised back in the 80's that bunkers were futile.. nothing can hide nor survive long term . After 2 years. life would cease to be. the only life we are aware of in the elite mass of space... gone...

💚💛💛💛💙 🇺🇦🇷🇺☦️ My appeal to President Putin . April 9 2011 my dad passed away as a good Christian. He booked his own tomb for himself before he died .His death gave me lot of pains but I became a good Christian after his death .I request President Putin to announce truce on April 9 this year with UKRAIN. It will take at least 20 years for ukrain to normal life . Russia has almost damaged 70% of ukrain territory . Russia must stop it's anger. My dad had told about INDIA and Pakistan war ,,if Nehru had not stopped the war the INDIA military general said he would have captured the entire kashmir . He wanted one hour . But Jawaharlal Nehru stopped the war. Yes may be an another one month time Russia could destroy ukrain completely ,but Putin must become Jawaharlal Nehru God bless you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is a Russian colonial landgrab, and it is failing. Russia lost half of what they captured in this war after Ukraine counterattacked in September. Russia just has nukes, it has no conventional strength. Do you know that Russia only has half the economy of India?

You can`t unless you have your own bunker, best advice is to stand outside and get vaporised,it`s a lot less painful than wandering around blind in the aftermath slowly dying of radiation sickness

I think the best way to avoid fallout is to head for ground zero before the nukes detonate.
