They are not hunting beaver they are trapping them and that is more Canadian than maple syrup. I don't know if you are a new Canadian but trapping is the history of Canada. The government has quotas on registered trap lines that trappers must meet. Beaver trapping is alive and well throughout Canada.

A bever cuts a tree down to eat its limbs..... human cuts a tree down to make a skid, to ship 1 load of toilet paper to throw it away.

Difference is that humans use the entire tree while beavers just use one part of it. Beavers waste the tree when it could be put to use. Beavers create artificial marshlands which can destroy native ecosystems and dehome other animals. A beaver population controlled is helpful sometimes but if you just let them run rampant then they can destroy entire areas. By comparison humans are making trees into toilet paper, paper, building materials, furniture and other things that can be of use and we even mark off sections of land to harvest from most of the time similar to a corn field. Humans get much more use out of a single tree than a beaver ever would. Beavers are a nusiance and are only good for clearing away dead and rotten trees or serving as a food source for predators.

@@peachibread1983 Moreover, beavers cut some trees like an alder, spruce, pine and even don't eat them, just knock down and leave. They do insane amount of damage to people's properties. They completely ruined my pond, dug dozens of holes, runs in my pond dams, drained almost all water. My property looks now like terrain after soviet artilery bombardment. These destructive pest should be definetely eradicated. Ad Soviets as well BTW.
