best thing to do is get on the floor & start practicing! Set a timer for like 2-5 minutes and have a play - it'll start to click after some practice!

I can't get my cat happy. Just gave it a try. I weekly do cat camels, thread the needles, but I can't do flexions with ease, stiff as if I was dipped in a cement truck. Psoas lumborum or Piriformis probs I think. Poor cat! :)

Thank you I used to have a really flexible spine and I was able to do this well but I have two bulging discs and two herniated discs and I've been experiencing burning and stiffness in my lower spine for 5 months now do you think I should try doing this with the herniations and the burning??
@TomMorrison

keeping your spine moving is a big part of keeping it healthy! So if you can do some cat/cows that's great, but also don't forget to move your hips (very important for herniated discs!) kzitem.info/news/bejne/13lrwHisZpR4ZaQ

I started this after a back injury (?) I felt something go in right lower back while doing squats 3 was ago. It’s only last 3-4 days where I could finally arch it at all. Had severe pain when putting my chin to chest while standing or seated. Slow go but these stretches will be perfect! Love the content you guys put out! Thank you from Vancouver, Canada.

Look up "the pelvic clock" Feldenkrais method ATM (awareness through movement) lesson and try this first, on your back. If you open up your pelvis first, this will make it MUCH easier on your knees
