Je ne suis pas un combatant, je pratique par passion et seul, le maniement du nunchaku. c'est impressionnant cette fluidité et ton calme, ce que j'aime par dessus tout c'est l'art de la perfection des mouvements... bravo...

Lee Barden is an amazing Nunchaku teacher and is really incredible at them but this guy is crazy because he's able to do everything Lee Barden is able to do but with the heavier Bruce Lee style nunchaku and keep the momentum going

i practice nunchaku and although a lot of this stuff is flashy and would never be used in a fight it just goes to show the speed and skill this dude employs. it can't be used in a fight but beleive me when i say this dude would hit you so hard and so quickly you wouldn't even be aware he'd started before you regained conciousness on the floor. and ilovenunchux you are correct. lee barden is THE master!

CHINESE STYLE NUNCHAKUS ARE THE BEST BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS INCORPERATE STRIKING POINTS AND NOT all the carnivalesque juggling and tossing up in the air you see so much coming out of Europe and I doubt verry much most can't even spin a pair of chucksIn CHINA they take their ART very seriously and not just for fun,this dude below here 'ANON THANGS' don't know jacks hit what he is talking about!I give CREDIT to all that are here with their KZitem video showing us the love they have for nunchucks and I'm sure each one has become better I have seen the progression with some and it's COOL to see them kicking ass!I wish all NUNCHUCK brothers the very best,keep flowing!!!!!!!im sure BRUCE LEE is getting a kick out of all that has come out of watching his MOVIES mesmerizing us all with the NUNCHAKUS! PEACE AND TRANQUILITY TO ALL!!!!!

宇航 安 Hey man .I'm chinese ,I can't speak English well,First,there are so much people like nanchaku in china,but almost no one live on teaching it.so most of us learning nunchaku via internet.the word and the vocie in the video just tell us the name of each action.Chinese also learn nunchaku by video,No one tell you how to use it in the real fight,so we feel and try something more at kungfu club ,boxing hall and so on.I tried to find the video which shows nunchaku in the steet fight.but I can not find it even at KZitem.

No disrespect intended.. I wonder if you watched the complete video ? ? This guy uses some very excellent foot work, yet only in a couple of clips ... He also utilizes misdirection with jumps and spins,, I truly think he moves around very well, and I would not welcome a fight with him while he has a pair of Nunchuku in his hands .. But yes he is very flashy which is not practical at all, but he shows that he can do combat as well.. Just my opinion .. 5 STARS Paulie D' The Punch Professor

@Jieh47 Meh. It's terminology. The Shao-Lin monks called animal form practice "animal play", probably because if you can't have fun learning martial arts, you should just be meditating and reading scriptures (monks lead a pretty boring life). So he can absolutely be called a player by even the most serious and traditional nomenclature.

I think a lot of people on here have been watching too many movies. If someone was going to pull a knife, they're not going to do it 20 feet away from you and then wait for you to pull out your chucks. They're going to be up close and you probably won't even see the knife. There's a good video on youtube about knife vs. a cop with a gun. Out of 10 times, the cops got their gun out once before they even knew they were being attacked with a knife. Training exercise of course.

@Squirleypoo i'm not saying they're not a very effective weapon, only that half the moves shown have no place in a fight as they require that you let go of the chuku which is never a good idea in a fight.

He has very good Technique. But what type of Nunchuk is he using? Short Roped? Chained? It sounds like a chain just can't tell. Either way he has some skill.
@tangshihlin

So with the long-chain nunchuku -one gets greater range but less post-strike control- and it seems like the pro-chux have a better flow to them. But this guy flows just as good as pro chux guys almost. It seems different with longer sticks and chain. They're more awkward but have a bit more visual appeal simply because of the long stroke. Are there long stick pro chux?

:) you are right & wrong. Right on what you said, however... in China nunchaku is only a sport for fun. Search "chinese nunchaku" his techniques are artistic wushu style for looks... like animal form kung fu ect. very artistic.. but when brought down to the basics can still be used to fight.

And I just watched you.. you know this! Choke back on your stick on strikes.. might cause body change... better control on stikes,,, but more hurt...ackkk... sticks would go to splinter... but would be interesting.. Good work Mr Revpagaur.!

@STruscott22 I don't mean to call you a liar, but I've seen a video (which I'm trying to find) that shows a "master" hitting his student with a pair. the student is wearing full pads and a helmet. The master hits the student about 15-20 times in a matter of seconds (single wield). The studen stands up dazed and said even with full pads it still stings a bit. They can be used in a fight.

This guy does a training coarse for Chinese nunchaku. Search for jwks single/double nunchaku tutorial here on you tube. One of the vids focuses on combative attacks. I promise that you can't do these things without a thorough understanding of basic strikes and movements first. Think of what he's doing as the next level of control past combat. if you can run a mile than 10 feet should be effortless.

Comment is funny, because you know he's not going to fight that way. I don't see much juggling... I see handling.. any way he wants...well..almost any way... he's missing some basics from behind the back... regardless.. combat wise, he'd strike much more reservedly, but still have enough fluidity to make it rather effective.
@GaudencioJRLingamen11754
12 жыл бұрын
Wow, it's entertaining! The speed is amazing, but juggling is not effective in actual combat, esp. that your spins are near your body. If you are attacked with a heavy stick, you'll get hit by your own nunchaku. I like your long whipping strikes. because they are good & I can discern that your grip is tight.. Just differentiate juggling for entertainment from real combat situations. Mid-air strikes are safe due to absence of recoil from weapon to weapon collision. Move around to be realistic...
@dagashi84

@NunchakuWay I agree with your logic? But you carry them with you EVERYWHERE? Lol! Remember the first rule of martial arts. First master the body, weapons are only an addition and if you have mastered the body, they will turn out unnecessary...
