Nura Gamarada is an innovative cultural learning program developed by the Sydney Youth Justice Community Office and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The program (‘Nura’ means Country and ‘Gamarada’, friend) has opened opportunities for young Aboriginal people to connect with culture and nature while completing offence-focused intervention casework at the Royal National Park on Dharawal Country.
The positive change in young people participating in the program is inspiring.
