Hey, so grateful for your videos on dosage calculations. You have very well rounded with the examples you made. Some other examples that you can please make to help his this video set that I have on my semester are: 1- BSA Body Surface Area 2- Fluid and Intake problem 3- 24 hour Fluid Balance for pedis 4- more pediatrics question problems. There always so tricky because of the rounding.

You can also do a - Grain (gr.) video problem - where you need to convert problems first. Like a how many tsp/Tbsp Will you give when you have on stock 5ml. - also, like how many units will you give. For like insulin. -reading a label and converting the problem. To get the answer. - I even had to do calculate how many calories does the person get for 1 protein=4cal. 1carb= 4cals, 1fat =9cal

I get confused on what to put on top and bottom and what you start with. I was with you until the 125 ml infusing per hour and then how long for 500 ml to infuse. I could obviously do it in my head and come up with 4 but when I went to put it on paper, it doesn't work out. Why do you start with 500 ml x 1 over 125 instead of 125 ml over 1 hour x hour over 500 ml? The hours cancel each other out but then you are left with 125 over 500 which is obviously not correct. Is there some easy way to figure out what to start with and what goes on top and bottom? Also, I assume whether you multiply the conversions first and then what is ordered makes not difference? I think I saw in another video that she always started with what was ordered x conversion x available, etc.

Can you explain this problem: Help me to understand. Sometimes I forget and divide 3 into 75 which will leave me with 25 and I take that 25 and divide into 25 which will give me 1 tab. This is not the answer. The answer is 3 tabs 1. A nurse is preparing to administer imipramine 75mg PO daily divided in three equal doses. Available is imipramine 25 mg tablets. How many tablets should the nurse administer per day? For this problem I would divide 3 into 1.5 which will give me 0.5 then I would divide 0.5 into 0.5 which would give me 1 tab 2. A nurse is preparing to administer Clonazepam 1.5 mg PO in 3 equally divided doses every 8 hours for a client who has seizures. The amount available is clonazepam 0.5mg tablet. How many tablets should the nurse administer per dose? Desired/Have x quantity
