So keep in mind I did this test WITHOUT any oil. When you buy nut butter in the store, it doesn't have ADDED oil, so I figure why add it to the recipe. Want me to do a future video tested it with oil? It would probably work.

This is my second Magic bullet, and I have to admit that for the price it delivers really well kzitem.infoUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq Considering that there are other products twice and even four times more expensive, I think that for one person this is just right. The only problem is that you have to make sure that your vegetables and ice are cut into small pieces because it won't chop and blend well. I made the mistake of putting whole baby carrots with a cup of mixed greens, and it wasn't pretty.. Also be careful not to overfill it, because it will overflow. As long as you follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, you should be happy with this purchase.

I don't know why companies make blenders with only a blade at the bottom and don't instead make a spiral blade that extends almost to the top of the container. That seems to me like a big design flaw because food has to either be shaken or rearranged to reach the blade and be fully blended to a creamy consistency. I have a Magic Bullet and it does OK for liquids but not great on anything dry. Doing smaller amounts at a time and then scooping them out into the jar you're going to keep the butter in will work. It just takes a bit longer.

The larger diameter canister can’t keep the powdery nut material within the path of the Ninja’s blade. Neither machine does that well as they are being used here. I would try adding slightly warm water (95 F) for processing; when completed, dump into an open wide mouth container (jar) and let the excess water evaporate out...stirring it several times daily until I achieved the ‘butter’ consistency I wanted. Be sure it doesn’t get rancid or contaminated, infested!

My 600W Bullet of 5 years finally broke recently. Good timing for mother's day :). Hence I am now looking at both Bullet 900W and Ninja 1000W Auto IQ BL480. The Bullet 900W with 10 pieces packaging is only $99 and the Ninja 1000W Auto IQ BL480 is $139. Bullet is meant for making smoothies, convenient and small. If you want your Bullet to last longer you've got to follow instructions closely, it needs LTC :). However, the reason I am looking at Ninja is because it has more features, the auto and pulse and their cups are made of polycarbonate material. In addition Ninja is able to crash ice into snow. Ninja is heavier and a bit more bulky than Bullet. Ninja BL480 $139 is clearing this model as they have launched a newer generation and Bullet 900W for $99 is value for money. And it exists for people who are pretty much well-off. I make a decent amount of money and I still can't justify spending $400 on a blender.

@@josefinapaje8220 You can use the mill blade to make flours, grind coffee beans, etc. It is still my understanding that it isn't supposed to be used for butters. Nutribullet doesn't provide a mill blade with the 900 and they state it's not needed with 900 due to the motor size. Another youtuber called them and did a video on making oat flour with the 900's provided extractor blade.

Did he seriously say a refurbished Vitamix isn't that much more expensive than one of those blenders?? A nutribullet pro is about $90 and a refurbished Vitamix is $329! I'll just add some oil to the nuts and have some patience instead 🙄🙄

Good show ! by the way almond or any nut should be backed before blending, to be honest it takes less human & machine efforts

Unless you put 2 at least tablespoons of oil of your preference inside , that's a good way to burn a blender...😂

If you'd put the Ninja onto pulse & just let it pulse, it'd have made Almond butter. You're just in favour of the bullet, so you weren't giving Ninja a chance. Ninja is hands down, MILES better than the bullet

Ummm had you put some coconut oil or honey at the beginning...maybe they wouldn't be clumping and sticking to the sides. Telling me NOT to buy one of these personal blenders. And just spend a few hundred dollars more and buy a Vitamix. And actually a "cert refurb" unit IS sort of expensive. Maybe within a $100 from a new unit...at least on Amazon...

I'm here looking at this video & comments because I just got a 1000 W Ninja With all 3 containers , in 3 different sizes, base unit, , blades & 2 drink tops for only $4.99! I wasn't even looking for one, but the worker literally set each piece on an empty shelf right in front of me! 2 seconds after he left, I scooped the whole set up. So I'm here, learning how to use it. So, try looking in thrift stores. It's not all junk there. Sometimes people move & get rid of their stuff, get a newer model, or don't like the presents people give them. Why pay more than you have to? Then, if it dies, you only lost a tiny bit of money.

Thx. I want to make my own nut butters and I'm now seeing that my Nutribullet is probably not going to be as effective as my food processor
