Just came into the shop to buy speaker cables. Went out with this and I don't regret it! Uploaded the Creamback G12H75 IR's and I have my cab in a box. The only thing I miss, is a volume control, if you have the amp sim turned off. I'm loving this pedal! I'm running the DI out, out of my Laney IRT studio straight into the NUX with the cab sim turned off.

This had the potential to be a great demo, but to just go back and forth on the cabs and then the mics was not necessary. Should have gotten to the power tube and mic placement options sooner and a bit more systematically. Also, should have brought in some other pedals, like a fuzz, OD, chorus, reverb. delay, etc to show how it handles those - - rather than just the same sandpaper distortion pedal all the way. Or - - how does an acoustic guitar sound through this? The demo did show some good possibilities though. Whether these cab and mics are accurate is not as important as if the sounds are varied and usable, and they are. Seems a viable option to using an amp with load box etc for silent recording.

just fyi.. at 02:40, the mic model and mic position always active with/without power-amp sim on. i'm using this with my laney irt15h and thd hotplate. the lineout from the thd hotplate connected to this lovely nux pedal and direct to mixer using xlr cables. and i never used the poweramp simulator.

I bought the pedal and I get a high pitch sound when using xlr output no matter what I do. with or without any input and with both footswitches on or off. Any help?

I got it as well. And I can hear it in this video as well (min 6:15) As I was looking for a solution I arrived here, at this video. I am wondering if the problem would dissapear if it would have it's own power supply, separate from the pedals power-chain.

You should check your power supply. Mine had the same problem but it is now completely silent after I changed power supply.

I also have that high pitch hiss sound when using Solid Studio. Does everyone has it? I can hear it in this video as well. Has anyone found a solution for that? Also... it seems to me that the "gain" knob does the same thing as the "master" knob. No difference in sound.

I experienced the high pitched noise. It disapeared after I changed my power supply to Vitoos ISO4. I think you should check whether your power supply is isolated or not.

I can second @pramkriuk you need a truly isolated supply. The Solid Studio draws 500 Ma and my old power supply had that digital hiss. I bought a Truetone CS7 and it is dead quiet!

It is about the mili ampers (ma). Solid Studio draws 500 mili ampers (ma) from the power supply. If u have multiple pedals, each pedal draws a certain amount of mili amper from the power supply. If you have ap power supply that gives 1000 ma, you need to make sure the total amount of ma of all pedals together doesn't surpass 1000 ma.
