I picked one up for $40 (Nux), and it's on most of the time. I use it primarily as a booster. Most of my songs are clean, fingerstyle. My only criticism is that it starts to break up, semi defeating the purpose of using it vs a distortion. But it's a nice little pedal, and for someone that just plays and records for a hobby like myself, worth a try for a small investment.

I own this pedal. It's a clone of the Maxon Ts9 Sonic distortion. And it's great. I'd totally agree. It's one of the best budget OD pedals out there. Just don't expect a "dumble style pedal".

Wrong.. SD9 got more gain. And the SD9 tone knob is nothing like this pedal .. Super wrong

👍👍 I really like mine, we will see if it lasts. Update: well I pretty much leave this on my board. I think it sounds better with single coils. My LP has a Pearly Gates neck & Screamin' Demon bridge. Pedal doesn't like it🤔

Agree, I have one and feel it gets much closer to the (Robben Ford) style fatter clean OD on a Tele. Humbuckers are already fat and if you have cheap ones with cheaper pots the associated muddyness wont help. However, it is still a solidly built neatly Dumble styled ( in the knobs / font) clean boost OD for not a lot of money. I will be keeping mine.

6:13 I've always thought of the Dumble sound associated with Steeley Dan, and Larry Carlton, which was always a tasty sound
