I got them too Don’t forget they are made in Germany too unlike Wiha which have been outsourced and made in Vietnam. Why though I don’t know

Wiha shifted their production to be more cost effective unfortunately so hopefully they don't drop in quality!

I just picked the longer ones up for Bunnings last night and used them today….bloody nice. It’s a shame Bunnings don’t sell more of the 1000v ones.

Been using NWS for some time before the "electrician "version was released, they sell them at bunnings in a three pack the same size pliers and cutters without the useless training wheel bulges that get in the way if you try and put them in a pouch nose first. the third tool in this pack is a pair of multigrips. The other 3-pack has the smaller 180mm pliers, side cutters and needle nose. For context I started when you only had the option of Marvel or crescent linesman pliers, so no training wheel bumps to get in the way and while the crimper behind the pivot was used a little more than now it wasn't until I found NWS removed the crimper and shifted the pivot point flush with the grips that resting your thumb on the insulation so as to remove the chance of shock when " äccidentily " stripping a live cable. It meant the cutters are closer to allow a better grip and control to strip cables. The range comes with 2 lanyard attachment points on the handles. They have a hexagonal shape on the other side of the blade section to grab larger nuts. Yes, the range could stand to have a broader head though. P.S. The cutters of linesman pliers didn't use to have 2 sharp edges, instead, both blades had 2 flat sections where they meet, they could cut insulation tape and screws as the flat edges meant fewer chances to chip or blunt the broad flat edge over 2 chisel points meeting accurately over time.

Love NWS but they cost more than a comparable Knipex everywhere I shop. Right now on Amazon the Knipex with that voltage protection grip is $21.04…. The NWS is $29.75.. both are 180mm combo plier.

The head is too small on that model. Need to buy his bigger brother separately. I think the bigger brother is close to the channelock size
