sad to see the broadway and times square that empty... even thou it's 3am. years ago that place would be packed a all hours of the night. But so many people are low on funds nowadays just even the thought of going to the city is a distant memory or dream

@@beedoggs comment from someone obviously young. Things used to remain open 24/7 in times square especially. I remember the early 2000's me and my friends would be there till the wee hours of the morning and people would literally be everywhere still doing things and going into stores and restaurants. That's why NYC had the slogan "the city that never sleeps" It doesn't apply anymore thou

@@beedoggs my dude it's not better now. I live in the Bronx. It's dangerous as all hell. all the big stores are shutting down because of constant smash and grabs and secret bodega shops open up in many of the 5 boroughs that sell all the stolen goods. There's prostitution going on in broad daylight in Queens redlight district. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I know a hell of a lot more than most people don't live here that THINK they know how the city is. It was safer in the early 2000's by far.

@@1ButtonDash that shit was happening in the early 2000s and way more prevalent, also you live in the bronx, not exactly white picket fences and mowed lawns, crime rates are significantly down from 25 years ago, look at the raw data for yourself

Imagine how times square would have looked if the money they make from tourists was invested into making the area have gorgeous architecture, creative light patterns and breathable air but nope let's bombard this place with stupid advertisements; what an eye sore. I understand many people from around the world love to visit ts but just think about how it would look if the money goes towards actually improving this place and making good investments...just a thought.
