Thank you - love these big construction toys - currently working on Tonka loader but man do they have a lot of parts but at least they are big - I admire your work with smaller items that is hard!

Looks good. With all that rust, I wonder why you didn't soak it in Evapo-rust or something similar. With all those folds in the body work, I wonder if the rust proofing spray penetrated.

Ben - that is a good suggestion. I do both at time but this toy did have a lot of nooks and crannies.

Yes, Nylint does weld parts together. I use spot weld cutters to separate parts then rivet back together.

The company must've used JB Weld on that on piece bcause there's no welds showing,so they probably put it on those 2 pieces & clamped it down, surprised that you didn't white letter the tires

Justin - yes this one was tricky - this one was an older work and I think I did do white Tonka lettering on some other Tonkas. Thank you for having a look and commenting.
