I had the privilege of being on a livestream with svrcina. She is a very authentic and kind hearted woman, and is every bit as talented as she sounds. I can assure you she doesn't need to lip sync to sing well

You two didn't notice the key change at 4:40, the highlight of this song? Bless your hearts. And the accompaniment gives me goose bumps all over. This song is done so many times. In fact, too many times. If you've heard one, you've heard them all. Until this one. I have probably listened to this version over 100 times now and still in awe of it. Tauren Wells is just plain sick. I first heard (and saw) him on Joel Olsten's programs and have been in love with his voice ever since. His raspiness only adds beauty to his voice. He could sing "Mary Had A Little Lamb" and make a masterpiece out of it.

SAME! What exactly ARE all of those key changes? At one point it seems like they go down an octave but up a 5th (or a third) from there? Something like that? Whatever it is, it's an absolute masterpiece in both arrangement and execution. I have never seen anything remotely like it before.

On your question about lip singing. All music videos use the studio audio, however, any artist that cares about quality is actually singing when they make the video. It’s just not the sound you ultimately hear. The only way to truly line up the lips to the vocals is to actually sing the song. Lip singing will cause the artist to be “off” and it’s noticeable. So very likely these two were truly belting it for the video too. But it is the studio audio overlay. Learned that from a recording artist that let us into a little background info about the way things work 🙂. I thought it was interesting and you asked, so... 😂

Luke, thank you for you reaction to this video. In terms of lip syncing, if you don’t hear “room noise” it most likely is lip syncing.

Yes, it is lip syncing in music videos. They are on sets with multiple takes and directors like any other film. Great reaction.

You need to react to Noel by Tommee Profitt feat Stanaj. The live version is insane.
