Parkinson really was a genius, the best interviewer of all time. He ever so slightly steers Noel into talking about his upbringing, specifically about how he was physically abused by his father, and nobody, not even Noel, realises it and is just going along with it. Noel only realises what he's talking about when he is specifically asked about how he was beaten as a child, and he clearly remembers it, and that's when he realises he has to make a joke and turn the tide of the interview. I really miss Parkinson, when you really used to find out about these famous people, what they were like, what made and inspired them. Nowadays every interview show, Graham Norton, Johnathan Ross, its all just comedy and try to make it funny. There's a real gap in the market for something like this.

Nor is he an assassin: skilled shooter yes, but he only ever kills as a last resort. He doesn't like killing, but he does what has to be done for the greater good.
